Preparation;First of all, chop 1 onion into small pieces.Chop 2 green peppers into small pieces.Finally, let's chop 2 tomatoes into small pieces after peeling them.Let's beat 2 eggs that we will use on the other side in a suitable bowl.Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet. Add onion to the melted butter.Fry for 1-2 minutes until the onions change color.Let's add the peppers and continue to roast them together with the onion.Add 1 teaspoon of tomato paste to the onions and peppers we roasted with onion and pepper.Let's continue roasting until the smell of tomato paste comes out.After the tomato paste is roasted, let's take the chopped tomatoes into the pan and let them cook until they soften.Add half a teaspoonof salt and 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes to the softened tomatoes that have absorbed their water and mix them.Finally, pour the beaten egg over the menemen. Then mix the menemen gently.Our menemen, whose eggs are cooked, is now ready to serve. Bon Appetit!

Apple pie
Ingredients:
For the crust:
2 1/2 cups plain flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, chilled and diced
1/4 cup iced water (add more if required)
For the filling:
6-8 medium apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
3/4 cup caster sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 tbsp plain flour
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
2 tbsp butter (diced into small pieces)
For the top:
1 egg (for egg wash)
1 tbsp water
1 tbsp coarse sugar (optional, for garnish)
Apple pie
Instructions:
1. Make the crust:
In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, and sugar.
Add the cold butter cubes and use a pastry cutter or fork to work the butter into the flour until it resembles coarse crumbs. You can also use your hands for this, but be careful not to warm the butter too much. Slowly add the ice water, a tablespoon at a time, and mix until the dough begins to come together. You may not need all the water, so add just enough to form a dough. Divide the dough in half, shape each half into a disk, wrap in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (or up to overnight).
2. Prepare the filling:
Peel, core, and slice the apples into 1/4-inch thick slices. In a large bowl, toss the apple slices with the granulated sugar, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, lemon juice, and vanilla extract. Stir well to combine. Let the mixture sit for about 10 minutes to allow the juices to release.
3. Assemble the pie:
Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
Roll out one of the dough disks on a floured surface to fit a 9-inch pie pan. Carefully transfer the dough to the pie pan, pressing it gently into place.
Pour the apple filling into the pie crust, mounding it slightly in the center.Dot the filling with small pieces of butter. Roll out the second dough disk and place it over the apples. Trim any excess dough around the edges and crimp the edges together to seal. You can create a decorative border if you like. Cut a few slits in the top crust to allow steam to escape during baking.
4. Bake the pie:
In a small bowl, whisk the egg with 1 tablespoon of water to make an egg wash. Brush the egg wash over the top crust. Sprinkle coarse sugar on top, if desired. Bake the pie in the preheated oven for 45-55 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly. If the edges of the crust start to brown too quickly, cover them with aluminum foil.
Let the pie cool for at least 2 hours before slicing to allow the filling to set. Serve warm or at room temperature, and enjoy with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream!

Geniko Lykeio Neou Skopou sent their recipe for GEMISTA (Stuffed tomatoes and Peppers) to Gazi Anadolu Lisesi and received a recipe for MANTI.
The Women's Association of Neos Skopos together with the Parents' Association of our school came to our help! The food we created was tasted by the students and teachers of our school and the neighbouring Junior High School and was gifted to people of the village who are in need. We are so proud for our students for thinking about their fellow people.
The recipe was changed a bit based on what we found on the internet.
