Hello kids!
My name is Carly, and that's my dog ,Sam.

Today we're going to explore the four friends of our earth - The seasons!
Let's find out some interesting facts about them!

Let's start with Spring!
In Spring, the weather gets warmer, flowers bloom, trees grow new leaves, and animals come out. Birds sing, bees buzz, and baby animals appear. Spring happens because the Earth tilts toward the Sun, giving us more sunlight. It's a time when everything begins to grow again after winter.

Now, let’s head into Winter!
Winter is the coldest season with snow, short days, and long nights. Snow and rain happen because the cold air can’t hold much water, so it falls as snow or rain. Animals hibernate or grow thick fur. It happens because the Earth is tilted farthest from the Sun, giving us less sunlight. People wear warm clothes, drink hot cocoa, and celebrate holidays. Sam loves playing in the snow!

Now, let's jump into Summer!
Summer is the hottest season with long days and bright sunshine. People swim, eat ice cream, and play outside. The Earth is tilted toward the Sun, giving us the most warmth and sunlight. Plants grow tall, fruits ripen, and animals enjoy the heat. Sam loves chasing butterflies and splashing in the water. Can you feel the heat of summer?

Next stop, Autumn!
In autumn, the weather cools down, days get shorter, and leaves change colors before falling. Animals gather food for winter.
Autumn happens as the Earth tilts away from the Sun. The air feels fresh, and you might need a jacket. Sam loves jumping in crunchy leaves. What’s your favorite part of autumn?

The seasons are important because they help plants grow, keep animals safe, and give us different weather. In spring and summer, plants grow, and animals find food. In autumn, plants rest, and animals get ready for winter. In winter, the cold helps some animals sleep, and plants stay safe until the warm weather comes back. The changing seasons keep everything on Earth balanced and healthy!
