I dedicate this book to all people who want to know about the history of one of the greatest Romanian poets.

Mihai Eminescu (born Mihail Eminovici; b. January 15, 1850, Botoșani, Moldova - d. June 15, 1889, Bucharest, Romania) was a Romanian poet, prose writer and journalist, generally considered to be the most famous and influential personality from Romanian literature.
He published a single volume before, Poems, composed of poems published throughout his life in the magazine Convorbiri literare of the Junimea society, of which Eminescu was a part. Notable works include Luceafărul, Ode (in ancient meter) and the five Letters (I, II, III, IV and V). He was born in Botoșani and grew up in Ipotești, moving, as a teenager, to Cernăuți to attend secondary school where, at the age of 16, he published his first poem, De-ași avea.
At the age of 19, he began studying philosophy at the University of Vienna, where he encountered the writings of authors who would strongly influence his work, such as Plato, Spinoza, Leibniz, Kant, Rousseau and Schopenhauer, but also Eastern philosophy through works such as the Ramayana, the Mahābhārata and the Vedas. It was also during this period that he began to publish in the magazine Convorbiri literare. At the age of 22, he went to Berlin to continue his studies.
Luciafarul (3 Lyrics)
From the shadow of the towering vaultsShe straightens her stepLick the window, somewhere in the cornerLuceafar is waiting.

Mihai Eminescu poems: Somnoroase Pasarele
At the nests they gather,
They hide in the branches -
Good night!.
Only the springs sigh,
While the black code is silent;
The flowers in the garden also sleep -
Sleep in peace!
Between the reeds to sleep -
May your angels be near
Sweet sleep!
Rugaciunea unui Dac
While there was no death, nothing immortal,
Nor the kernel of life-giving light,
It was not today, nor tomorrow, nor yesterday, nor always,
For one was all and all was one;
While the earth, the sky, the air, the whole world
They were among those who never were,
Back then you were alone, so I ask myself:
Who is the god to whom we leave our hearts?.
