I dedicate this book to my family

Chapter 1

It was 9 : 00 AM when Timmy was in his office at the zoo and got a phone call.

“Who is it?” Timmy asked.

“It’s us,”  they said concerningly, “ Jimmy and Lizzy, your doctor and assistant, from the zoo,”

“ Oh,” said Timmy, surprised, “ Why call me so early?” 

“ There is an emergency, meet us outside,” said Lizzy and Jimmy, as the call ended.

As he got outside Jimmy and Lizzy told him what they had to do.

“We have to go to the Grasslands,” Jimmy and Lizzy said.

“But Grasslands are so boring, they are 1.8 million years old, why go there?” said Timmy, “The Grassland is such a blank page.” 

“We will tell you while we ride in the ATV's,” said Jimmy and Lizzy.

Chapter 2

While they rode through the green grass and the short bushes Timmy was still wondering what the problem was.

“Can you tell me about the problem now?” asked Timmy.

“Ok,” Lizzy replied, “there is a lost man somewhere around this area that we have to find.”

“But that is going to take us forever,” Timmy replied back

“No it won't,” Jimmy said, “you are just exaggerating.”

As they were riding they got hungry and thirsty, so they stopped to get some fresh berries and some freshwater from the lake, since they had a filter. They all ate and drank. As they all finished they got tired, so they set up their own tents.

“Did you know Grasslands are America’s most endangered habitat?” Jimmy asked,  just when Timmy and Lizzy were about to sleep.

“We know!” Timmy and Lizzy yelled. As they all took a nap they all had dreams about finding the lost man

Chapter 3

The next day Timmy, Jimmy, and Lizzy got back on their adventure to find the lost man.

“Guys let’s go on our ATV we have to find the man soon,” Timmy yelled.

“Ok,” Lizzy and Jimmy replied.

While they rode through they saw a variety of animals like zebras, giraffes, bison, elephants, cougars, etc. They were all fascinated by the very tall giraffes and big elephants. 

The zebras were all huddled together and the calves were very feeble, so Timmy could not take a picture with one. 

On the other hand, the cougars were substantial and solitary, and they took a picture of one to research it at the zoo.

“Enough pictures guys, we have to do what we came here to do,” Timmy said.

“Right,” Lizzy answered.

After taking the pictures they got back on their journey. They kept driving through the grasslands

"Jimmy,” Timmy called, no answer, “Jimmy,” he called again, still no answer. “Where is Jimmy?” Timmy asked. 

“I don’t know” Lizzy replied with a shy voice 

Timmy and Lizzy rode through the grass and still Jimmy was nowhere to be found. They  set up their tents and they were determined to find Jimmy and the lost man the next day.

Chapter 4

The next day Timmy woke up for food and water for breakfast. As he crawled out of his tent he heard a voice, so he woke up Lizzy.

They both walked to their cooler and got some fruit bowls, chips, and water. They walked back to their ATV, but it was not there.

“Where is the ATV?” Timmy asked.

“I don’t know,” Lizzy answered.
