This is the story of a boy

named Omad...

He loved nature and would spend time after school playing in the forest and making friends with the animals and insects.

Omad would spend hours in the forest and it would be dinner time, before he went home.

On this night, he found something unexpected...

Hey there, little green frog! My name's Omad. Are you here all by yourself?

Ribbet! Ribbet! Guckgoon!

Omad's Mom always had his favorite foods waiting for him and that made him very happy. Tonight, it would be chicken, vegetable soup and strawberry cake.

Thanks, Mom!

It was great! I made some new forest friends. Even a little green frog!

How was your day, Honey? Make any new friends?

Omad was very smart, got good grades and he loved his teacher Mrs. White, but he didn't have many school friends and that made him a little sad.

Good morning class!

I wish I had more friends in school, but the other kids think I'm weird. I try to make friends, but I just end up getting picked on. I'm glad I have my forest friends, because they understand me and always make me feel important. I'm really glad I found the little green frog. He seems like he could use a friend, too.

Omad spent everyday, after school, with the little green frog....

Hey, little green frog...Are you lost? Where's your mom and dad? Don't worry. As long as I'm around, you'll be ok!

Ribbet! Guckgoon!

He even brought the frog home and fed him worms...

The next day was Saturday...

Omad, come and eat your breakfast!

Omad and the little green frog decided to spend some time at the pond, not too far from home...
