             This book talks about what life 

                   was like in ancient Rome.       

students usually sit on stools because there aren't any desks.

Children stay at school about 6 hours a day on saturdays and sundays, too.

Boys and girls don't receive some education.

Girls can only learn to read and write.

Children of poor families or slaves aren't educated at all.

Children start primary school at 6 or 7 years old, but only families have got money to pay for it.

 They lear to read,write and count.
