For most of his life, James was a normal man. He grew up in a suburban home with two loving parents and a dog. But over time, his mind would make his life into an interesting false reality, which lead him to a place from which he couldn't escape.
James woke up one morning in a place he felt he had been before. A nice house on the beach, a vacation home, to be exact. He woke up with his wife, Jamie, next to him, he looked out the window to a beautiful beach sunrise. He and Jamie read out the agenda for the day; it follows the stereotypical beach day plan, yet he seems to have done this before.
As James's family moves throughout their beautiful beach vacation, he gets flashes of things that seem to have happened right in front of him instantly. He is transported to another place, like another beach or on a boat, but it's not like he's going through a normal day it flashes of a day broken up into something familiar. The most prominent memory of that day is James and his son John they built the biggest sand castle he had ever seen. It was a moment that made James happy in a cloud of confusion; something made him happy.

As fast as his beach vacation started, it ended, and like nothing, he was in his house again with just him and his family. Though it was pouring rain, he smiled ear to ear. James, John, and Jamie were played a game, Jenga, to be exact. James had felt a sense of relief go over him like it was a long week, and he finally got to decompress over the weekend with his family. This seemed like a little moment, but to James, he felt so consumed by joy at that moment that he barely wanted to leave.
