Hi there! My name is Milo, and I live in a colorful neighborhood with my family.

The baker, Mr. Ahmed, gives me a warm, crusty loaf. "Shukran," I say, which means "thank you" in Arabic.

Next, we visit Mrs. Chen's vegetable stand. She has the brightest, greenest vegetables I've ever seen.

"Ni hao, Mrs. Chen!" I greet her in Mandarin. She laughs and hands me a crunchy carrot. I take a big bite. "Delicious!"
