The Cheetah is the fastest land animal on 

earth! The cheetahs slender long legged body 

is built for speed. Cheetahs are tan with black 

spots, and a white belly. They have stripes on 

their eyes that look like tears. They are not as 

strong as lions, leopards, tigers, and other 

cats but they can always get away from them.

Cheetahs Eat gazelles, wildebeest, impalas and 

smaller hoofed animals.

In 1900, there were over 100,000 cheetahs. 

Many of them have been hunted for their pelt, 

claws and teeth, Because of hunters, There are 

about 9,000 or 12,000 cheetahs today.

Cheetahs are mostly found in Asia and Africa, 

Cheetahs live in dry grasslands.
