When I was little

I LOVED cats.

So did my sister.

She drew cute pictures of them!

She also drew them on Sketches School!

They were so cute and the strokes of pen and pencil had meaning I wanted to do too!

But…

I was not good.

Asking my dad went a little something like this…

TEACH ME HOW TO DRAW

Uhm, ask your mom.

He wasn’t very good at drawing. Neither my mom.

Can you teach me how to draw?

Ask your dad. I’m not that good.

So I did the best thing I knew how at that time.

Quit.

It was good. But…After a while, it didn’t feel so good to watch everyone try and succeed every time.

So, I tried again. But this time, I had a plan. I followed my cat.

I followed my cat EVERYWHERE.

Then , I drew him.
