ACTIVE CITIZENSHIP FOR A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE
This storybook was created to raise awareness about how we can combat cyberbullying, a current problem within the scope of our eTwinning project. We formed 7 Mixed Country teams and with the station technique, each team continued the story where the previous team left off. The story visuals were created using Artificial Intelligence and contributed to our students' increasing their technology usage skills.

However, one day, a photo Ela shared did not get as many likes as she expected. She noticed that the comments and likes on her posts were decreasing day by day. However, the number of likes and comments made Ela feel valuable. As the numbers decreased, Ela felt both sad and worthless. She is being overthink.

Ela's posts were teased by her friends, her friends started writing mocking words under Ela's post, Ela could not reply to everyone, the whole school was talking about Ela's posts and making fun of them.
Ela removed her posts. However, her friends started sharing the comments on Ela's posts with each other on their own social accounts and when they saw Ela, they looked at her with contemptuous eyes. And thought why did i feel so bad?

Ela was so sorry that she started not going to do school. she wasn't talking to her friends. and she never left her room. she wasn't eating anything.
Her family was worried. They didn't understand anything. They asked why she was upset and didn't go to school but they couldn't take an answer. So they decided to go to school to find answers of their questions.

Ela's family was met at school by a psychological counselor and a guidance counselor.
Ela's mother said: "My daughter hasn't talked to us for days, she's always in her room and she definitely doesn't want to come to school. We're very worried about her.
Her father said: "Ela used to love spending time on her phone but she hasn't picked up her phone for days. We think she's being bullied.

Ela was walking around her room alone, thinking about her shattered virtual world when she heard a knock on the door. When the psychologist arrived, she fell to the floor and said, "It might help if you let me."
Ela's eyes filled with tears. "I don't understand... why do they hate me?" she asked. "They don't hate you," the psychologist said. Sometimes people forget that online conversations have a real impact. But your value is not measured by likes or calculations. You are so much more."
For the first time in weeks, Ela felt a glimmer of hope. After all, she was no longer alone.

After Ela's parents visited school, they came home and went into the girl's room. She was sleeping soundly, so they decided to look through her phone. After Ela's parents had searched the social media, they decided to take action against all the bullies and confront those who wrote the abusive comments towards their daughter. But eventually, all of a sudden Ela was woken up by upcoming messages. To everyone's surprise, there were apologies from everyone who bullied her. It was probably done in fear of legal consequences. However, whatever the reason for apology was, the whole family started to see the hope for getting over from all Ela had recently gone through.
