One day there was a fish in a pond named 

Castro. He saw a bird and thought to himself, 

wow that bird is so lucky he can go anywhere 

anytime with out water and he can fly!   All 

day Castro thought about being a bird and 

what it would be like. 

There was a bird name spike. He saw 

Castro and thought to himself,wow I 

wonder what it would be like being a 

fish, doing nothing and just swimming 

all day!

When Castro and Spike went to sleep they saw 

a shooting star! They both wished the same 

thing, to switch bodies.

The next morning Castro and Spike 

woke up, and they both said, "WOH, I 

feel different." That's because they 

switched bodies!

Spike became very hungry and wanted some 

fish, but he was a fish! All the other fish 

started picking on Spike because he was not 

eating. So Spike pretended to eat little sea 

creatures because all the other fish were 

eating that.

When Castro woke up he also got very hungry. 

All the other birds ate fish and castro said, 

"eww" out loud. All the other birds were 

picking on him because they didn't know 

Castro switched bodies with Spike, and he was 

not acting like a bird.  

So Castro pretended to eat a fish. He put 

water in his mouth so the fish could live, then 

he went to the nearest pond to spit the fish 

out.   He felt bad for separating the fish from 

his family.

That night Castro and Spike wanted to change 

their wish, to go back to normal.   But that day 

they didn't see a shooting star.
