Jessie is excited to be in the 4th grade.  It means that she gets her very own Chromebook!

Her teacher explains that using a Chromebook is a big responsibility, and the entire class must be Super Digital Citizens when using them.

Jessie imagines what it would be like to be a Super Digital Citizen.  Does that mean that she would be a superhero?  What would she have to do?

Jessie's teacher explained that students should be careful when using the internet on their Chromebooks.  There are bad people called Cyberbullies and Cyberstalkers online that students need to be aware of. 

What are Cyberbullies?

Jessie wondered what cyberbullies are.  Jessie's teacher explained that they can hurt you by embarrassing, threatening, or harassing you when you are online.  Super Digital Citizens should report these people to their teacher or other adults.

Jessie's teacher then explained that cyberstalking occurs when someone continues to follow you online and may request your personal information or send you mean-spirited messages.  Super Digital Citizens should report these people to their teacher or another adult.
