This book is dedicated to my little brother. Levi, I love you a lot even though we argue sometimes. Well, okay, a lot, but our friendship is always there:)

Note:
The reason this text is written in two different perspectives is to help YOU see the story 2 different ways.
ENJOY!
If you go past the deep, deep, sea...
Through every woodland and every village...
You'll find me.

This is my neighborhood.
My family owns Albatross Inn. Do you see it?

But this story is not about me.
It's about my best friend,
Jossilyn.

Jossilyn and I are very different, but she and I both have one mission...to spread kindness.
This story starts with me. I have been going to Bruceberry Academy since I was 5. The school is a beautiful place and I love walking to the big brick building each morning. On the day SHE showed up, I was strolling through the hallways. I had five minutes before class started, and there was one thing I just had to do. Sighing contently, I walked down the trophy hallway. I read the names as I passed. Luke Heppingsworth, Sally Gomez, Lianna Oakwood...
And then I saw my name, Lucy Scott. And all 563 trophies I had earned over the years.

The bell rang through the school and I left the hallway of trophies.
I walked into my classroom, ready to make the world a better place. I listened intently to instructions and helped a few kids with math. My teacher, Ms. Liz , directed the class as we wrote essays and practiced cursive. At lunch, I plopped down next to my three friends and zipped open my lunchbox. The contents of my lunch did not surprise me at all.

But then I saw this girl I'd never seen before. She looked...shy. Maybe timid? I don't know, but know one else even looked in her direction. I started to feel bad. I mean, she seemed lonelier than any other 5th grader I've met. As she ate, I watched her. Finally, I whispered,"Hi! Are you new?" She zipped around to look in my direction. I waved, smiling.
