We all need to be safe in the kitchen,and to do that we practice,kitchen safety,prevention of cross contaminants and mise en place.

How do you be knife-safe you may ask? Well with correct hand positioning.1 place the sharp end of the knife away from you so you don't have the knife go in you when positioning it.2, don't use the knife whilst distracted, do not cut yourself.3 place them at the side of the sink to not cut anyone washing dishes. Also, make a flat base on round foods to keep them steady

If you have a dull knife you would apply more pressure and if you do that you can easily cut yourself.

Do not try to catch a falling knife. if you walk with a knife put it down by your side pointing slightly away from you Secure cutting boards with a wet towel,but people can still get hurt if you don't know about cross contamination and allergen prevention

Both allergens and cross-contamination can get people sick without proper prevention. Food or kitchen tools can be contaminated easily by raw meats touching them. So if you use a knife on raw meats then use the same knife on ready-to-eat foods without the knife getting de contaminated people would get sick when they ate the ready to eat goods.

Food allergens,food allergen prevention is simmilar to cross contamination prevention but failure to prevent it is has much more consequences.we can prevent it by cooking a decent distance away from the area they prepare the allergen food and use different tools than ones they used on allergen foods.
