I'm going to tell you a tale I heard many years ago.

 There were two princesses who lived far from where you are now.

     One day, the sisters declared war. The first sister, Abigail,chose a unicorn as her weapon. The second sister, Amalia, chose a dragon as her weapon.The sisters split the kingdom in two, each of them choosing a side. And the war began.

        Everyone was worried. Each side of the kingdom panicked. Then one morning, a pheasant            named Charlotte decided to             change everything. She headed to the castle.

    After walking and walking, she arrived at the palace. Charlotte asked for and audience with the princesses. Their royal advisor agreed and sent them into the throne room.

    Just as Charlotte expected, the princesses were arguing. She cleared her throat and requested a jar of cookies. 

  The advisor brought the cookies and Charlotte smiled politely. She took the jar and sat it on a table in front of the sisters. They were confused but let Charlotte explain. Charlotte took a pinch of salt and sprinkled it in the jar. The princesses tasted the cookies and gawked. Charlotte emptied the salt out of the jar and added some sugar. The sisters whined, saying it was too sweet. Staying silent, Charlotte added salt AND sugar. The sisters smiled after they tried it. "Delectable!" They exclaimed.

Charlotte explained that without BOTH salt and sugar, the cookies would taste gross. The sisters needed to work together just like salt and sugar. The sisters agreed and sent away their weapons. They repaired the kingdom and thanked Charlotte.
