Begone Sphinx!

The King Of Thebes is a person full of courage, he takes on the question of a mythical creature, Sphinx, without fear. But his kingdom is soon going to face a problem..

I don't like the new king. He is unworthy. We shall remove him!

Behind the scenes, a shadow is waiting to show its sharp teeth to the new king.

Today feels strange..

Are you not feeling good Oedipus?

Oedipus is feeling very uncomfortable as if he feels there is going to be something bad happening even though he just moved into the castles with his wife.

Where did all of the food from yesterday go!? This was supposed to feed my kingdom!

Oedipus is met with a surprise, and finds out that someone sneaked into his castle and stole the food that was meant for his people.

These strange people somehow find a way to steal a years worth of food from the kingdom without anybody knowing.

Oedipus plans to escape his kingdom that has made him full of guilt, despair, and unwillingness while his citizens yell and scream at him with countless insults. His wife, Jocasta, does try her best to defend him and bring him back.

GET OUT OF HERE!

After escaping from his duties as the king, he runs into a temple with no living beings inside. There are only plants, not even insects are inside this weird temple. He decides to go inside as a place for him to live for the day.

(3)Rising Action

Right after going inside the temple, a giant boulder suddenly blocks him and locks him inside without any food and water. He is now in true despair without anything to keep him alive.("Buddhism”)

Oedipus who had no food for days is ready to give up, but suddenly he understands the nature of reality(Namchak), including the suffering and its cause. (Lion's Roar)

But right then, the boulder which had already been full of cracks, finally breaks in half. Oedipus does not realize it as he had just been changed. After a couple hours, Oedipus wakes up a changed man and his face does not even change slightly even when he sees the broken boulder.

Once he leaves the temples, he feels as if his understanding of the world is different. He remembers his life in the kingdom and immediately gains a understanding that is based on a relationship of love and responsibility. (History.com)

He plans to return to his kingdom and make things right again.
