In the setting they are 

mostly in school, Bobs 

House and Charlies 

House,and it is 

modern day.

Conflict

The conflict is that charlie is 

having 

flash backs about his aunt.

Rising Action 

Charlie was at the his school football 

game when he got there he saw 

someone from is school every one called 

him Nothing but his name was Patrick, 

so he go's and sets with him at the game 

and then later on this girl came and her 

name was Sam after that they went to 

this guy named Bob House.  

Turning Point 

Charlie and his friends went to Bob house to get 

together and they were playing truth or dare and 

Patrick dare him to kiss the cutest girl in the room 

but charlie had a girl friend but he kissed sam not 

his girl friend after that he left and he kept getting 

worse each day and having flash backs about is 

aunt. 

Falling Action

After Charlie has been having all these 

flash backs of his Aunt Helen he 

realized that his Aunt Helen molested 

him.

Resolution

As soon as Charlie found out what was happening 

to him he went to the mental hospital. After time 

has passed he slowly got better sam, and Patrick 

came to visit him there 

Theme

The theme of this book is all about friendship, drug 

use, and up coming age because Charlie is a 

freshmen in high school and he is learning from the 

two seniors Sam, and Patrick. He learns how to 

make more friends after his, old ,and only friend 

died in a car crash and at one of Charlies first 

party's Patrick made a toast out to him saying "to 

Charlie our new best friend."
