Pink Football
Once upon a time, there was a fantastic football team called the Pink Team. They were due to play in the Nations of Colours tournament final.
The players were Emilly Vick, Katlen, Void, Leo, Robson and Davi. Davi was the goalkeeper; Leo and Void were lateral defenders; Katlen was a defender at the front; and Emilly Vick was an advanced player.
The match was taking place in Belo Horizonte at the Blue Team's stadium.
Their opponents were the Blue Team, whose players were Mateus, Arthur, Sophia, Maria, Brenda and Bruna. Arthur was the goalkeeper; Mateus and Brenda were the full-backs; Sophia was the centre-back; and Maria was the striker.
The Pink Team were now warming up for the game.
However, the Blue Team interrupted their warm-up, causing tension between the two teams. When the teams arrived at the stadium, they saw red smoke rising in the air, signalling that the match was about to begin.
The match was scheduled to start at 8 pm and finish at 10 pm.
The crowd was buzzing with excitement.
The referee blew the whistle and the match began.
In the first ten minutes, the Blue Team demonstrated strong teamwork and skill by scoring two quick goals.
However, the Pink Team weren’t going to take that lying down.
They decided to stay calm in the first half, focusing on defence and saving their energy for a big comeback in the second.
When the referee blew the whistle to end the first half, the Pink Team looked at each other and knew exactly what they had to do!
In the second half, everything changed.
Within the first five minutes, they scored a beautiful goal that lifted their spirits.
The Blue Team responded with two more goals, but the Pink Team didn’t give up!
They passed, defended and worked together with determination. Soon, they scored three amazing goals in a row.
When the final whistle blew, the scoreboard showed that the Pink Team had won.
The crowd cheered as the Pink Team lifted the trophy.
The Pink Team had won the Nations of Colours tournament, and it was a night they would never forget!

A Rainy Day
One rainy day, a girl was on her way to school by bus when she saw a lost kitten. Concerned for the cat's welfare, she went home first, despite being on her way to school.
When she arrived at school, her teacher was angry with her for being late, which made her feel sad.
When she got home, she found that the cat was hungry, so she went out to buy food for it.
However, when she returned, she discovered that the house was on fire, so she called the fire brigade.
She cried outside because she didn’t know where to live. Then she went to the supermarket.
Sitting quietly in a corner, she thought about what to do next. She no longer had a home, and the only thing she had was the small cat beside her.
Despite being scared and feeling uncertain, she decided to go back to school the next day, hoping someone might be able to help her.
The next day, she went to school. A friend let her stay at their house. She was so happy.
The following day, she saw a familiar-looking girl, so she went over to talk to her.
“Hello, what’s your name?” she asked.
“I’m Emma Swift,” the girl replied.
“Wait! Are you a Swift? I am too!”
“Are you my sister? You look just like her,” said Emma.
“Yes, I am! You can live with me!” the girl said, smiling broadly.
When she arrived at her sister's house, she was overjoyed to have found her. The next day, she woke up feeling happy and had breakfast with her sister.
When she arrived at school, everyone said:
“Can you be my friend?”
She happily replied, “Yes, of course!”
When she got home, she told her sister that she had made lots of new friends. Her sister was happy to hear that.
When she grew up, she went to work. Once she had saved enough money, she bought a house and moved in. Her sister was thrilled!

Once upon a time, there was an English family living in a flat in a traditional area of Madrid. The parents were called John and Nya, and their children were called Liam and Mia.
They had won the Spanish lottery and were deciding where to go on holiday. The children wanted to go to Dubai, but the parents wanted to go to Paris.
When the children came back from school, their parents announced:
"We're going to Paris!'"
The parents thought the children would be happy, but they were disappointed.
A few days later, the family received an email from Air France informing them that the flight to Paris had been cancelled due to bad weather.
The children then asked their parents if they could go to Dubai instead. The parents finally agreed, and a few days later, the family were at Madrid Airport.
They boarded the aeroplane and, after eight hours, arrived in Dubai.
“Yeah! We're in Dubai!" the children exclaimed.
They were eager to see the city's most famous monument: the Burj Khalifa. It is the tallest building in the world.
Their hotel rooms were very big.
“Now, let's go to the pool!”
Splash! They splashed into the pool.
"That was funny!" said Liam.
"Dubai is the most amazing city!" said Mia.
“But Dubai has even more exciting things! I read a book about it,” said Nya.
The next day, they visited La Mer Beach and the Emirates Mall. After this fantastic day out, they went back to the pool.
“When are we going to the Burj Khalifa?” Liam asked.
“Tomorrow,” replied John.
"We're really looking forward to going there!" said the children.
"We love Dubai," said Nya.
The next day, the family woke up to a beautiful sea view.
They called a taxi to take them to the Burj Khalifa, where they enjoyed the beautiful city views and water and light show.
It was fantastic, but unfortunately they had to wait a long time for the lift.
Afterwards, they went to the Dubai Mall to visit the enormous aquarium.
Then they went to a restaurant near the Burj Khalifa where the food was excellent.
After a wonderful day, they went back to the hotel and slept for the night.
The next day, the family woke up and went to Palm Jumeirah and its water park, which they found very entertaining. They splashed and played around in the water park.
“That was the best thing we did in Dubai!” said Mia.
After that, they called a taxi and went back to the hotel for their last night in Dubai.
