Global Warming is the gradual warming of the 

Earth's climate. The Earth is warming because 

people are adding heat trapping gases to the 

air. These heat trapping gases are called 

greenhouse gases. 

This climate change is causing glaciers to melt 

and make storms stronger. This is because the 

Earth's air, water, and land are linked to the 

climate. The climate has changed before but 

this time people are causing it. Because of this 

the Earth's climate is changing more severe and 

happening faster than before.

Greenhouse gases are causing warmer oceans, 

more evaporation, changing conditions for 

plants and animals, and melting ice caps.
