Hope means to want something good!
We are the children who live in Hope Village and
this is our story.
We had to teach our parents the meaning of Hope.
Yes hope in the heart and minds of their children.
We hope you like our story.

In the Village of Hope there lives many families. Their
homes are very close and beautiful, but the people
work so hard they never have picnics or barbeque.
They don't even take time to make a Hamburger for
their children.
So the children Just stand on the road smiling
sometimes, but most of all looking very sad as the
other children drive by eating Mc Duggland's Happy
Meals.

The children who live in Hope Village are very
different and yet the same. Well, maybe some of
us are considered a little strange for example......

In the first house lived DJ and his two sisters Tee
and Lyssa. They were always talking about having a
barbecue at there house, but it never happened.
Tee would say be quiet Lyssa you are always
hoping for barbecue it's Never, Never going to
happen! DJ would always put on a cape and
pretend he was going to fly all the children of Hope
Village to Mc Duggland's for a Happy Meals. Yes,
they were a strange family. Sometimes a little
scary!

Next, there is Little Davy he is a mean face
kid, but he hide his kindness so no one will
bother him. One day Charley, who is much bigger said to
Little Davy give me your blue book.
Well, everyone in Hope Village knew not to
take or touch Davy's blue book, but Charley was new in our Village.
After Davy's dog bite Charley on the
foot, they became the best of friends down
till this day. Charley's house was next to Davy',
they became like brothers, but Davy
kept his mean face!
Oh, Little Davy live in the house on the
hill. He has a swimming pool nobody
swims in. He calls it the Statue Pool.

In the middle of Hope Village there lives Jeryell, April and
Auggy. Jeryell is always thinking of ways to make things
better in Hope Village. Auggy never agrees with his ideas.
But when April puts on her red thinking boots. Things
usually calms down.
This is what happened on a breezy summer day..............

All the children of the Village came together with a plan to
help their parents spent more time with them.
They talked about how hard their parents worked and they
understood work was important, but they
also felt they were important too!
They loved their parents very much!
What were they going to do?
