Hi, I am Freja and I'm gonna tell you the story of my winter break in San Diego, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas. I'm from Washington D.C. and I want to share this story with the world. I am going with my mom, dad, and brother Kasper. He is 11 and I am 8, almost 9. This is a picture of me writing this book.

DAY #1
When I woke up, it looked bright and sunny outside. "Good morning, dad," I said with a bright and confident voice. "Good morning!" he said laying on his bed. Every morning when I wake up I look for my brush. I couldn't find it. While my mom was brushing her hair in the bathroom, I said, "Mom, I can't see my brush anywhere. Do you know where it is?" "Well, it's our first day in San Diego so it must be in your luggage," she said. I found my brush underneath a pair of jeans. My brother had an idea. "Can we do this thing where I'll put my legs on one of the beds and my hands on the other and you climb over like a bridge?" "Fine," I said.
I put my brush on the nightstand and went on my brother's back. "Ready, go!" he said. I walked through and it worked perfectly. Then I brushed my hair and put my clothes on. We were ready to go. We went in the elevator. When we went out of the hotel we started walking to this place called Little Italy. "Where are we going for breakfast?" I asked mom. "We are going to this place called Morning Glory," mom replied. When we arrived at the restaurant we had to wait 45 minutes for a table, so we walked around Little Italy until it was time. We walked to the Little Italy sign to take pictures. Then we went back to the restaurant and we only had to wait 5 minutes for a table to open up.

After we got our water we looked at the options for food. The waffles might be good, I thought. Oh wait! The American breakfast is also good, I also thought. "What are you getting?" dad asked. I thought about it for a few seconds and made a decision. "I'm getting the Belgium Waffles," I said a bit intensely. When the waiter came we started to order what we wanted. He left and I started to starve like crazy. The food was arriving very soon and I was very excited.

My brother is getting these thick pancakes, my dad is getting the American breakfast, and my mom is getting this potato salad dish. It took about 20 minutes for the food to come, so me and Kasper played some games and I almost won all of them! When the breakfast came I saw my fresh waffle with five minute whipped cream all over and some nice maple syrup. "Can I try some of your egg?" I asked my dad. I took a small slice of the fried egg. It was pretty fresh. I took a piece of the waffle, put some whipped cream and syrup and fruit on it, then took a big bite. I felt like I was melting and it felt so good when it just crunched in my mouth.
It was so nice and fresh, (maybe one of the best breakfasts I've ever had). When my parents were done and I was done, my dad paid and we started to walk to an aircraft carrier. I didn't know what an aircraft carrier is and it didn't sound too fun. "Look at this beautiful ocean," said my dad. "So, if this bridge fell, we would fall in the ocean. That would be bad," I said. My brother teased me: "Why would it be bad? Is it because you don't know how to swim?" I thought that he didn't have a brain because I was a really good swimmer." No dirty bulldog, it's because my perfect clothes would get ruined."
I am really into fashion, if you want to know.
We were almost there and I saw this big boat with a crowd of people in line for the tickets. "Are we going to that big boat over there?" I asked. "Yeah," dad said. We were at the end of the line but we didn't have tickets yet so we had to go to a much bigger line to get tickets online. My mom stayed in the first line so when we got tickets we could go back to the other line to go to the aircraft carrier. The line was really long and it felt like 100,000 hours. But we made it to the end, and we started walking up a staircase that led us up to the boat.
SMILE!... CLICK! We were done with our photo! "There's a scavenger hunt sheet. Do you want to go get one?" asked mom. "Sure!" I said. We went to see a man giving out scavenger hunt papers and a pencil. "Hi! What would you like today?" the man said. "Can we take one scavenger hunt and a pencil?" my mom asked him. "Of course!" He handed out a paper to me and gave the magic pencil (that is what he called it) to Kasper. The first question was how many children went on one of these planes in 1987? There was a sign above us that said 1987, we went close to it and started reading the text to find out how many kids were on the plane. "Oh! I see, four kids went on the plane."
Kasper snatched the paper from my hand and punched me in the shoulder to write it down. Me and my brother don't get along at all, so I just ignored him. He wrote it down with his horrible handwriting and read the next one. "What food did most pilots eat a long time ago?" The choices were hot dog, meatball, hamburger, and sausage. My guess was sausage, same with dad. I didn't care to ask my brother because he would say, "Whatever. I don't even care." There were these headphones that made you listen to a bunch of facts and my dad thought that they might have the answer. So he started listening, while we took pictures in the plane.
"Oh! Freja, I found out the answer!" He blurted out. "What is the answer?" I asked." Meatball," he said. I circled meatball. Then, we went to a small cinema and we watched a battle involving ships and airplanes. It lasted about 20 minutes. When we were done, me and my brother went to a virtual reality. It was my favorite part of the day. We were in a fight and I had to wear these masks and I saw boats fighting and lots of thunder. I kept getting dizzy so I took my mask off (by the way, my parents still don't know that!). After we looked all around the boat we went out to a nice and quiet neighborhood and went into a nice, little Christmas shop.
There were many ornaments in the shop, nutcrackers big and small, and also rings and keychains. I admired the rings. "Can I have this ring? It says Freja on it!" I asked impatiently. "Not right now, it's our first day of holidays. I'm sure we can find something in L.A., they have much cooler stuff there," my mom said. I could agree with her as Los Angeles is a pretty cool place. Of course, my dad bought some Christmas tree ornaments. We headed out of the Christmas shop and I saw a duck pond. I raced to it and I tried to reach the water. "What are you trying to do be, a duck?" Kasper teased me. "No, bulldog!" I said back to him. Me and my family went for hotdogs right next to the pond.
We ordered and started to talk about random things like how we don't want to go to school next week and what we were doing the following day. The hotdogs arrived really quickly. "Do you kids like the hotdogs? Do you need some ketchup or mayonnaise?" my dad asked. "No," we replied. I took another bite out of my hotdog. I looked through the window at all the frames hanging inside. There were a lot of Canadian frames. My mom ordered a taxi to go back to the hotel. After we finished lunch, my dad paid and we waited for the taxi to arrive. We went in the car and we were really close to the hotel so it went really quickly. We got out of the taxi and went to our hotel room. I brushed my teeth and read a bit. I soon fell asleep.
DAY #2
I woke up and I saw that my brother was sleeping on my head, so I pushed him over to the other side of the bed and woke him up. " Hey! What was that for?" he whined. I went to brush my hair and put my hair oil on and I did my routine. I put my blue jeans on and my sunset breeze t-shirt. My mom made coffee and I made a high ponytail for myself. I put my Sketchers on and waited for my brother. "Can me and Kasper go downstairs and wait for you?" I asked. "Sure!" I ran downstairs with my brother and waited for mom and dad. They came down and we started walking to a donut shop.
When we entered the donut shop it smelled like fresh donuts right out of the oven. I looked around, there were dozens of donuts. "How about we get the Nutella donut and split it up because it is very big?" my mom asked. We usually never have Nutella except on holidays. After we had the donuts we were still hungry so we went to the Italia Cafe. "I'm gonna get a cream cheese everything bagel," Kasper said. "I'm gonna get a Nutella bagel," I said with excitement. My parents went in line while we waited at the table. My brother started vlogging about what we were eating for breakfast. My mom came and gave us two orange juices.
Soon the egg, bacon and cheese bagel cut in half, the Nutella bagel, and the cream cheese bagel arrived. "Here you go," said my mom. I started to eat my Nutella bagel and I drank a sip of my orange juice. We ate and ate, I licked the Nutella off my bagel and I stuffed the whole thing in my mouth. My mom ordered a taxi to go to the zoo, while my dad went to rent a car to meet us there. The taxi was black and it had two rows. I went in the front row with my brother and my mom went in the back seat. The taxi driver asked us about our favorite animals. Mine is a sea turtle. He also asked us where we came from.
After we stepped out of the car, I noticed a big line but it was going super quickly. I saw these cool animals painted on the floor and this big lion statue. We took some pictures and joined the line. When we were the first people in line, a security guard gave us a card to be able to go through the counter. My card had a monkey on it, my brother's had a tiger, and my mom's had a meerkat. We walked straight through the gate. "We have to get a map," mom said. She went to get the map while I looked on the map on the board. "Oh, there's a skyline!" I said. When my mom came back with the map she said we have to wait for dad to come.
We went in a souvenir shop while we waited for my dad. We bought a panda keychain for my two best friends. Then we went to look at 4 different animals - lizards, hairless pigs, gorillas, and tigers. Then finally my mom got a text from dad and he was where we were at the beginning. We met him in front of the map. "Hi, do you want to get tickets for the bus tour?" mom said to my dad. They agreed to go on the bus tour and we started heading towards the line. There was a photographer who was taking pictures of all the families. It took a really long time but soon we were really close to the front of the line. We went on the top floor of the bus and I sat next to dad.
We saw many animals, such as birds, elephants, penguins, bears, meerkats, crocodiles, giraffes, lions and tigers. After we got off, we went to the skyline. There were over 45 people in line but it was worth the wait. We took a family photo with monkeys in the background. When it was our turn, we took our seats - Kasper and me on one side and my parents on the other. We started getting higher and higher and higher. We were more than 40 ft high and we could see the whole view of the zoo. We saw cool places that we could go to and it felt like I was free to do anything. Then we walked to get a pretzel and went to the car. In the car we played music the whole way!
While dad was looking for a parking spot I was daydreaming about the beautiful houses I saw. We started to see sand on the streets, which meant the beaches were close. Soon we were barefoot playing and building a sandcastle on the shore. We played in the water and in the deep sand, and we splashed each other with water.
We went to get a hot chocolate at a big hotel right next to the beach. Then we headed back to the hotel and had a night drink at the roof bar, where there was a nice singer next to the fire.
DAY #3
I woke up and I was extremely tired so I stayed in bed for a few more minutes. After a minute or two I got up and dressed. I didn't know what to wear because we were going on a long trip to L.A. After a bit of thinking I decided to wear my blue jeans and blue shirt, like a whole blue outfit. I brushed my hair and we were in a hurry so I just made a bun (as usual when I go on road trips because it makes me feel cozy) and put my sneakers on. "I really need new sneakers," I said to my mom while I was strapping my laces. We went to the parking lot and drove to a place to have breakfast.
My dad drove us to a corner bakery to eat. I got a bagel with egg, bacon and cheese (I know it doesn't sound like a lot but it was much bigger than a normal bagel, and those types of foods are very filling to me). We ate until we were stuffed like papayas, and went back to the car. I buckled myself up. "Kasper, do you want to watch Young Sheldon?" I asked, taking his headphones off his ears. "Fine," he said, "but we're putting my iPad in the middle." I noted the attitude in his voice. I nodded and put my cozy beach blanket on me and got my two favorite stuffed animals. (Their names are Marble - a pink fox - and Boo-Boo short for Booie - a cute little dog with big fluffy ears).
Kasper put on the show and we started watching it. After 5 episodes I slept for the last 30 minutes. Oh! I forgot to tell you that for a short break we were stopping at a beach to play! "OK, here we are," dad said after he stopped the engine of the car. I got out of the car and changed into my pink crocs. My brother chose to just be barefoot and walked on the sidewalk with no shoes or socks. At the beach we splashed each other with water and we made a ladder out of the sand. It was pretty useful! There was a little lake and Kasper swam and I took my bathing suit out of my suitcase and went in the bathroom to change into it.
I wore a bikini with yellow smiley faces on it. I thought it was the cutest thing in the universe. I walked out the bathroom surrounded by a line of people so I walked quickly to my parents. I started to look for a stick to write something in the sand. I walked over to the perfect area and wrote: MEJLAK FAMILY WINTER BREAK IN L.A. I also drew a bunch of smiley faces to match my bathing suit and I drew an island with a palm tree and a sun. My parents took a picture to put it in our memory book. Then I heard the sound of seagulls. "Look, seagulls!" I said pointing at them.
Seagulls are one of my favorite animals. I named some of the seagulls and it was pretty fun. I named one Goosey, another Sandy, and the last one Snick, short for Snickerdoodle. I acted like they were real people. I started to get cold because of my bikini, so I jogged to the lake in the middle of the beach where Kasper and my parents were. The seagulls followed me which drove me crazy. I wrote "BYE" on the sand and ran. My brother was splashing in the lake and mom and dad were talking. I told my parents all about what just happened and splashed my brother to scare him. We played in the sand and made a ladder again in the wall of sand.
"Hey K-K, can you jump from this hill to the bottom where the big stick is?" I asked standing on the small hill of sand. "Yeah, it's easy. See!"
After an hour we drove for the last 30 minutes. I looked out the window. I always wanted to come to L.A. It's summer all the time, there's the HOLLYWOOD sign, and there are a bunch of celebrities. When we got to the hotel we realized it was very close to Santa Monica Beach. I could see the rollercoaster and the coastline. We went in the lift which was made of glass so you could see all the floors. We got in our room, where we found two beds, a TV, a mini fridge, and a closet.
There was a huge bathroom, with a separate room for the toilet. And there was both a bath and a shower! My brother really wanted to go to the pool so he put his bathing suit on. "We have a lot of time," I said looking at the clock. After I looked all around the room I took my clothes off and put on my bathing suit.
"Daddy, what floor is the pool?" I asked. He was laying on the bed near the closest window. "Oh! Let me put my bathing suit on too. It's on the third floor." We were all in bathing suits and walked towards the lift.
"We're lucky it's just one floor above us," dad said. We entered the pool area and found a big basket of towels. "Can I grab one or do we have to pay?" I asked looking at mom. "No, just take one," my mom said smiling at me. Kasper was already dipping his feet in the water! I don't know what's up with Kasper and pools. "Come on, Freja! It's warm once you get in," he yelled. I went and dipped my feet in the water. Kasper pulled me down and I held my nose. "Hey!" I screamed, splashing water at him. Soon, daddy joined us and swam laps around the pool. I put on the goggles that my mom got for me and dunked my head in the water. I saw the reflection of the sun.
After 5 minutes I started getting cold, so I ran to a deckchair and called my best friends Susi and Lane. Lane was in Puerto Rico and Susi on a skiing trip. Sorry. Off topic, this is what the conversation sounded like. "Hey! What's up?" I said. "It's great here, just like summer," Lane replied. " Cool! Same, I just travelled here to California and we're swimming in the pool. Later we're going to Santa Monica pier." Soon Susi joined. We talked about all the fun adventures so far. "Freju," mom said using my family nickname. :"You should start to say bye.'' "OK. Hey girlies, I gotta go! Send me pictures and I'll send a lot to you!"
Then we walked towards the beach. I was wearing a yoga pants and a California t-shirt. I held hands with my dad in front of mom and Kasper. "Aren't you excited? This is your dream place to visit!" my dad said while I was skipping and Kasper was laughing in the background. We arrived on the big beach and saw a beautiful sky and a wonderful pier with a lunapark.

"Can we take our shoes off?" I said crossing my legs. "OK but hand them to me so we don't lose them." We ran barefoot with our foot sinking in the sand. "Hey Freja, do you want to do a rope climb race?" Kasper asked, pointing to two long ropes. I do those in gymnastics and I'm really good at them, even without using my legs to hold on. "Yeah! Race you there!" I started running to the ropes. "Three! Two! One! Go!" Kasper screamed. I climbed up looking at the top and how far is the distance. My hands started hurting but I still tried to climb." MADE IT!" I screamed. "Well, my rope is thinner so that's why you won," Kasper found an excuse. "Fine, let's switch!" And guess who won again? Me, obviously!
It was time for dinner. "Daddy, where are we going for dinner?" I asked putting my shoes back on. "There is this place called North Italia that seems nice," he said. That didn't encourage me but I always believe my dad. As we walked we crossed a bridge on foot and passed many restaurants. "Here it is," my dad said holding my hand. The waiter took us to a table and we looked at the menu. "Freja, I think the kids pasta with meatballs will be good for you," mom told me pointing to the kids menu. I thought about it for a few seconds and just to make it simple and easy I replied "Ok." After everyone knew what they were getting, dad started a conversation with us.
"So, are you excited to discover California?" He was tilting his head towards me and Kasper to hear our answer. "Yeah, we can meet Salish Matter and Taylor Swift," my brother said leaning on his chair. "When will the waiter come?" I groaned. "I think he is coming right now, sweetie," mom told me looking at the waiter.
"Are you ready to order?" he asked holding his paper and pen. "I think so," dad said. "I will get the Margherita pizza please," dad added. "I am having the bowl salad," my mom claimed, reading it off the menu. Me and Kasper ordered our food and the waiter left.
Our food came after a bit, and I saw a big bowl of spaghetti and 3 giant meatballs. "YUMMY!" I chanted taking a bite of my spaghetti. We were at the resturant for another 20 or so minutes and then we left. "Guess what you guys are going to get? A big stick of ice cream at the hotel," my dad said raising his arms to energize us.
YESSSSSSSSS I thought. I ran up to him and hugged him tightly. We got to the hotel and changed to our PJs while dad got the ice cream. We went in our beds and we all started watching Mr. Bean. It was such a cozy evening!
DAY #4
It was the day that I was sleeping with my mom, so I was very comfortable in bed. I was still so tired when I woke up but I got up to start my full day in L.A! "I'll wear my blue pants and my beach vibe shirt," I insisted. When I put my clothes on I went to do my routine. And once again my whole family was waiting for me. "Hurry up, Freja!" my mom told me smiling. "Coming!" I called out from the bathroom. "Where are we going?" I asked. "We are going to see the Hollywood sign," Kasper said. "We're also going to the walk of fame." Mom added. We got in the car and we played music throughout the ride.
"Let's go for a walk on the stars," mom said. "Can we go to Sephora really quick?" I asked. "Yeah, but only for 10 minutes because we are going to get a matcha latte," mom replied. I ran into Sephora and I looked around. Me and Kasper looked at all the different things. "Kids! Are you ready to order your drinks?" dad said. We checked all the flavors. "Can I please get the mango matcha latte and the strawberry matcha latte?" Mom said. "Would you guys like to go on a celebrity home tour?" Mom asked me and Kasper. "Sure!" we said. We walked to the place to get the tickets. "Go up stairs to the left and they will lead you to the bus," said the ticket seller.
My mom totally understood what the seller said so I just followed her to the bus. I sat next to my mom. It was an open bus so there was a fresh breeze. "Hi ladies and gents, boys and girls. Today on this tour we are going to learn all about Hollywood and visit celebrities' houses. It will be 2hrs long," said the bus driver. As we started driving we went on the mountains and saw the Hollywood sign, and the houses of Taylor Swift, Michael Jackson, Beyonce, Jay-Z, Bruno Mars, Travis Kelce, Justin Timberlake, and Rihanna! Halfway through the drive we stopped to see the whole view of Hollywood where we saw the studio where Harry Potter was filmed.
After the ride, we went to Chipotle, while dad went to the car. I ordered a bowl of white rice, chicken, lettuce, corn, sour cream, black beans, and cheese. I went to find a table for the three of us. "Here is a good spot," I said placing my bowl on a high table. We spent 30 min in Chipotle talking and eating. (I am a very slow eater and very picky on things so I only finished a quarter of my food.) After Chipotle we walked back to the parking lot where we found dad waiting for us. We drove to a museum about movies shot in Hollywood. At the museum mom gave me a bright purple band I had to wear to go in all the rooms of the museum.
On one floor it was mainly about a movie called "Jaws" and it showed cool pictures of sharks and stuff like that. There was also a section with the Barbie movie and how it was created with all the designs. And then, we all started to get bored and me and Kasper really wanted to go to Santa Monica Pier.
We arrived at the beach and there was a beautiful sunset right on the horizon. "I love this place already!" I said excitedly getting out of the car and taking my shoes off. "Woah!" everyone said. We were on the beach and there were lots of equipment, like rings and bars, to play with.
There was also a mini amusement park and a special place to see a great view of the sunset.

"Can we go on the swinging ropes?" Kasper asked. "Of course! You can do anything! It's the beach!" daddy replied. We ran to the swinging ropes and we soon mastered swinging from one ring to the other. "One famous person went on those and did the splits, can I go try to do it? And can you come with me, daddy?" I asked pointing to the tall rings. They already seemed super fun and I think it will be easy because I can do splits on the ground. "OK," he answered. "Do you want me to take a picture when you're in the position?" he asked. "Yes! But add the sunset so it looks nicer." It was so fun and I was so happy. I was enjoying it a lot.
"Come on - let's go take a picture against the sunset," mom said. We went on the boardwalk and looked at the pier. I was so relaxed. When we were walking a little closer to the shore we saw bikes that we could rent out. "Do you want to rent out two bikes to go to Venice Beach? There is a small bike trail that we could go on." And of course ... that was totally a YES. We rented scooters. I went with dad and Kasper went with mom. "Yay! This is so fun, daddy, we should do this more often," I said while my dad drove faster! I smiled and was so happy. "They cost money but on vacations we can do it every day!" he replied in joyfulness. We stopped in Venice Beach.
"Now we're gonna go to a Japanese place that I know you will like, Freja." I love sushi, it's the best thing in the world. "How long is it to get there?" Kasper asked unexcitedly. He is more into the Mexican kind of thing. It took us about 10-15 minutes to get there. "Woah, this place is big," I said looking inside, and it smells so good!" "Hi, welcome to Hama Sushi, table for four?" a waiter asked standing behind the front desk. "We all followed her to the table and sat down. "I know what I'm getting - any type of sushi, but I really want to try something new," I said putting my menu down because I am too lazy to actually look and see what's on the menu.
"I will get you two different types of sushi so you can have the ones that you usually have and maybe the crunchy tuna roll, does that sound ok with you?" my mom asked me. "Sure!" Everyone knew what they were ordering and the same waiter came and gave us each a fancy Japanese-looking glass of water with lots of ice. "Are you all ready for your orders?" asked the waiter politely. "I think so," my parents said nodding. Mom took ramen. Dad went for miso soup and also the Japanese garlic meat. Me and Kasper got sushi and then came what I call the boring part. "To kill time can I go wash my hands?" I asked. "Yeah, it's right there," mom answered.
I went upstairs and there was a whole other floor with a lot of people sitting at different tables, and a bathroom right next to the stairway. I washed my hands and when I opened the door I heard the noise of so many people talking loudly. As I walked down it got bit by bit quieter and quieter. "Did you manage to find the bathroom?" dad asked me rubbing his hand on my back. "Yeah, I found it, but upstairs it's like ten times louder!" Then the food came! "Here is the Callifornia rolls and the crunchy tuna rolls. And the ramen. The rest of the food is coming right up. Oh! And here is a good and popular Japanese mint for the kids."
"Thank you," we said together taking our plates. "Here, do you want some noodles from my ramen?" mom asked, taking a small bowl and putting some ramen in it. "OK," I replied. "Daddy,, when you get your miso soup can I have some please?" I asked. "Yeah," daddy said. "What's a miso soup, even?" Kasper asked. "It's like a normal hot soup and then they add little green onion, seaweed and miso paste, but miso is like a savory paste," I said. I took my first bite of the crunchy tuna roll and took a sip of my water. Soon the waiter came with two big metal plates. "The California rolls and the miso soup and rice." "Let's take a photo to remember all this," daddy said.
Finally we got out and were waiting for the car. "Are you two excited?" mom asked. "What do you mean?" Kasper asked. "We got a self-driving car!" Everyone got so excited. I smiled so hard and said, "REALLY?!" We had a whole conversation and then the car came. "HI, I AM YOUR DRIVER TODAY. PLEASE BUCKLE UP. HOW ARE YOU DOING?" The robot spoke in a cool voice. "Look! There is a screen in the back too!" I whispered. "FEEL FREE TO SING AND TALK! NO ONE CAN HERE YOU! ENJOY!" We talked and sang like nobody was watching. "So, how did you like your day in L.A.?" "It was good," Kasper said. "THANK YOU FOR COMING IN THIS CAR, BYE!'' I loved today.
DAY #5
When I woke up I saw my brother on his iPad using my headphones. I knew we were going to a lot of beaches today so I put my most beachy outfit on - my sea turtle earrings, my blue jeans with a pink starfish, and my t-shirt that said L.A. beach. "Kasper, can you get off the bed so I can organize it again?" I know you might be thinking why can't you make your side of the bed first, but I don't even make a mess when I sleep and his side of the bed looks like a tornado just hit. He just stood up and went on the other bed. I made my bed, brushed my hair and teeth, and put my sneakers on. Then I went on the couch to play magic tiles.
The boys were still in their PJs, but mom was putting her sneakers on. She had a cute white t-shirt on and a sports jacket on top and black tight pants. "Freja, do you want to come with me downstairs and the boys can come when they're ready?" "Yeah," I replied walking over to the door and putting my crocs on. We walked down and grabbed a plate. "Oh yay! It's a buffet!" I said. I love when hotels have buffets. "Should I get cranberry juice or apple juice?" I asked myself. I chose apple because I tried the cranberry juice and it was definitely not for me. This was my plate: small pancake, croissant, muffin, fruit loops, and pineapple.
My brother and dad were already down when we were sitting at the table. They went to get their food and joined us. "I'm going to the bathroom. Where is it though?" I asked. "I'll take you," said Kasper. My brother started walking straight to the bathroom and I followed him. He started walking in circles several times and then finally took me to the bathroom.
After breakfast we took the car and drove to Malibu beach. We drove for around 25 minutes and I spent my time in the car looking out the window the whole time.
