Misi Village is a small and charming village in Bursa, known for its history and natural beauty. It has old wooden houses, narrow streets, and a peaceful riverside. In the past, people lived on farming, silk production, and animal husbandry, while today tourism and handicrafts are important. Its history goes back to the Roman period, and the village still preserves its cultural heritage.

Artistic Style
The church blends several styles:
Gothic (in the facade and vaults)
Renaissance and Baroque (in the rest of the building)
This makes it very interesting because it reflects different periods of construction..

The Kiss Gate
The Kiss Gate (Poarta Sărutului) is a masterpiece of modern sculpture created by the renowned Romanian artist Constantin Brâncuși. Located in the Târgu Jiu ensemble, this limestone monument serves as a profound symbol of eternal love and spiritual transition.
Architecturally, it features a massive lintel supported by two thick pillars. The pillars bear the stylized motif of two profiles merging into one, representing a kiss.
Through its minimalist aesthetic and geometric precision, Brâncuși transcends physical romance, turning the gate into a portal of unity. It remains a cornerstone of global art, inviting reflection on the sacred bond between souls.

Our students visited the Irgandı Bridge, the Green Mosque, and the Panorama 1326 Bursa Conquest Museum as part of an educational and cultural trip in Bursa.During the visit, students had the opportunity to explore the historical and cultural heritage of the city while learning outside the classroom environment.
This experience enabled them to gain first-hand knowledge through observation and interaction, making their learning more meaningful and memorable. In addition, the trip encouraged students to spend more time engaging with real-life experiences rather than relying solely on digital devices, helping them develop a healthier balance between technology use and social, cultural, and educational activities. The visit also contributed to improving their communication skills, cultural awareness, and appreciation of history.

In April, together with the students, we visited the “Dimitrie Gusti” Village Museum, a highly appreciated tourist attraction and one of the most important open-air museums in Romania. This activity provided a valuable educational experience, contributing to the understanding and appreciation of the traditional Romanian cultural heritage.
The Village Museum represents a true “fresco” of rural life in the past, bringing together traditional houses, farms, wooden churches and technical installations specific to different regions of the country. The visit allowed the students to discover the way of life of traditional communities, popular architecture and authentic values of the Romanian village.
In the context of the project, promoting this objective is of particular importance, as it encourages learning through direct experience and reconnecting with elements of cultural identity. In an era dominated by digitalization, such visits contribute to the balance between the virtual and real environment, offering students the opportunity to interact directly with history and culture.
Thus, the visit to the Village Museum was not only a recreational activity, but also an important educational endeavor, which supports the formation of an attitude of respect towards culture and tradition, while also contributing to the promotion of one of Romania's most valuable tourist attractions.
