There is a place far away without many schools. The people who live there need to go all the way through the hills, across the river, and over the mountain to get to school. This school is located behind the mountains. All the students have to travel across a difficult road to get to their school. If they went to the same other school, they had to drive for hours. Anyway, to get to their school, they had to wake up early and walk to school. Somehow, everyone in this town was going to the same school.

On the first day of school, something happened...... Mia just disappeared! Hannah and the teacher were all in panic, and they found something..... a note that said, "Sorry Hannah, but I really need to do something really important, don't worry about me, I'll come back soon. By: Mia, your best friend".The note ended there. Hannah gave the note to all the teachers and students in their

school. Hannah tried to find Mia, but they couldn't. They even went to the police station. If you ask me why they went to the police station, it is pretty clear! They were trying to find Mia. When will Mia come back to school?

However, Hannah didn't know that Mia was a detective. Hannah asked Mia why she had been gone for so long, but Mia couldn't tell her she was a detective. Mia was a secret detective. Mia was gone for so long because she was busy solving a secret mission. The old school behind the mountains didn't have a roof. And the school was too far away from the village. So Mia decided to solve this problem by raising money beside the village to make it more convenient to go to the school. If they had a school beside the village they wouldn't have to go all the way over the mountain. They decided to......

Mia and Hannah decided to call the president and were hoping she could donate some money to the school. Unfortunately, the president didn't agree. While the girls heard there was a robber who robbed a bank far away from the school. The police tried to catch him, but they couldn't. Apparently, a robber came to the school and hid the money somewhere in the school. The girls had to find it if they wanted to build another school beside the village.

Mia and Hannah tried really hard to find the money, but they still couldn't find it anywhere. They kept searching and searching for the money, because the old school was too old and too far away from the village. One time when Hannah was looking for her flute, she discovered the money by accident. She told Mia that she had found it, but Mia didn't trust her. Mia saw a note on the money bag and she saw an address. They had to find the address fast. They opened the money bags, and saw a bunch of fake money inside.

The Canadian president found out who the thief was; her name was Ben Smith, and he was in Mexico now. The Canadian president helped them to get airplane tickets and bodyguards so they could travel to Mexico safely. Ben also gave Mia and Hannah a GPS so they could find Ben more easily.

Mia, Hannah, and the bodyguards went to Mexico to find the thief. They looked through the last note and found some words on the back. It said you are close, go to the closest school near you....." Mia, Hannah, and the bodyguards didn't really trust the thief, but they still went to the school. When they arrived, they saw a lot of......
