an eTwinning project 2025/2026

All the illustrations and sentences from the partner schools will be combined to create one shared story, which will be published in StoryJumper showing Gaia’s colorful adventure across South America.
The story can be in the form of:
- a comic book (drawings + simple sentences),
- a mini-story with illustrations (3-5 sentences in English),
- a collage of children's drawings and captions.

Gaia’s Journey – Story Introduction
One day, Gaia, the spirit of the Earth, woke up and looked at the world with a gentle smile
“I want to visit every corner of our beautiful planet,” she said.
“I want to see forests, mountains, rivers, and oceans… and meet all the animals who live there.”
So Gaia stepped onto her magical ship and began her great journey across the continents
Along the way, she would discover amazing places, meet new friends, and learn how to protect the Earth.
And this is where her adventure begins…

And so she reached the Amazon. She sailed her ship down the Amazon River and admired the rainforest and wildlife such as anteaters, jaguars, and capybaras. On the Amazon River, she admired pink river dolphins. Colorful parrots and beautiful toucans flew overhead. From the Amazon, Gaia sailed down various rivers, admiring Brazil, until she suddenly realized she had reached the Iguazu Falls.

Gaia and Queen of the Andes- puja
In Brazil, Gaia heard that the “Queen of the Andes” had grown in the Andes; it blooms only once in its lifetime and then dies, and its inflorescence is 15 meters tall and consists of 20,000
Gaia wants to see this rare plant.
Gaia climbs the mountain and meets monkeys.
The monkeys help Gaia climb higher.

Gaja made her dream come true and met the Queen of the Andes, the Puya plant.

One day, Gaia traveled very far away, all the way to the magical Galápagos Islands. There, she met a large sea turtle named Luna.
“Would you like me to show you the secret of the island’s volcanoes?” the turtle asked.
Gaia climbed onto her shell, and together they began their adventure. Luna knew a secret path that led to an old volcano.
But as they were walking, the volcano started to smoke… and suddenly, a huge eruption followed! Hot lava began flowing in every direction.
Luna became frightened.
“Oh no!” she cried. “The lava is heading toward my nest! My eggs are there!”
Together with Gaia, they rushed toward the path leading to the nest, but it had already been covered by lava.
“What are we going to do now?” Gaia said, shocked.
