Ash is a young trainer, his starter of the kanto 

region is Pikachu and he was Ashs favorite 

pokemon   .He first went with a lot of trouble to 

win Pikachu's heart.

Brock was the first gym leader ash had to face. 

Brock told ash its a two on two pokemon 

battle.Ashes first pokemon was Pigiot so Brock 

choose Gravler then Pigiot won by using ariel 

ace. Then Brock choose Steelix and ash went on 

with Pigiot later Steelix used hyper beam and 

which caused Pigiot to faint. Then ash choose 

Pickachu and it won by using bolt tackle and so 

ash got his first gym badge and Brock went on 

with him.
