I am a believer in change
I wonder if people hear the cries
I hear peoples voices being silenced
I see the horrors
I want change to fall in
I am always praying
I pretend and dream of a better world
I feel sorrow and empathy for others
I worry things wont flourish like a butterfly
I cry for others who have been stripped of their freedom
I am appalled by others ignorant actions
I understand we are all the same within
I say we need peace everywhere
I dream of a heaven like earth
I try to help others make their voices roar
I hope one day we can all love another
I am a believer in change
I Am Poem: My Spirit

Naiya,
Shy, Kind, positive, determined to succeed
Daughter of Lisa, sister of Evan and Ethan
lover of chai lattes, antique stores, and fresh air
Who feels ecstatic when plans go through, fulfilled after a good meal, and feels over the moon to be blessed
Who needs more sunshine, vacations, and peace
Who gives out her time, love, and affections to her loved ones like candy
Who fears illness, bugs, and awkward social situations
Who would like to see the Colorado mountains, Zion, And Japan
Resident of San Diego

Bio Poem - Me Myself and I

I Am Poem - My Spirit
I wrote this poem to showcase what i believe we need more of. I believe there's always room for improvement. Especially where the world is right now in many aspects. I displayed my viewpoint throughout my poem. I used a simile, personification, and a metaphor to help display feelings and give imagery.
Bio Poem - Me Myself and I
I wrote this poem to showcase who I am and what i enjoy. I can be a mystery to others so to showcase me, felt refreshing. I used a metaphor and simile to explain different parts. For example, I explained how i give out my love to loved ones like candy in my poem. This can showcase my stance and tone in many ways.
Time goes by,
The mornings cold and silent
Hissing of my coffee pot wakes me
I go outside and feel the cold air touch my eyes
I see my breath and start to smile
The streets empty
There´s a fire in my chest
And light in my eyes
My brain rings a bell
I feel alive
Recreation Poem - Alive
Imitation of Federico Garcia Lorcas style in his poem ¨Llanto por Ignacio Sanchez Meijas
At seven forty-eight in the morning
It was seven forty-eight in the morning
The clock is ticking
At seven forty-eight in the morning
Things will happen when you least expect it
At seven forty-eight in the morning
A secret plan is already born
At seven forty-eight in the morning
Planes and bomb swifting through the air
At seven forty-eight in the morning
The stillness of the night like a slow burning candle
At seven forty-eight in the morning
Chaos everywhere, TVs screaming their heart out
At seven forty-eight in the morning
Bits and pieces taking flight in the air
At seven forty-eight in the morning
The final attack struck a nerve
At seven forty-eight in the morning
As our trust forever broken
At seven forty-eight in the morning
Stylistic Imitation Poem - A Secret from Within

Stylistic Imitation Poem - A Secret From Within
I wrote about pearl harbor because i felt it was a good event to write about for this type of poem. I wanted to display the events leading up one by one to cause a slow burn effect. I used personification to make it sound more real. The words i used were in hope to make it sound vivid. A simile was used to compare a silent slow night to something gentle and slow.
Recreation Poem - Alive
I wrote this to showcase what it can feel like to realize you are living. Even in your day to day routine you are still flourishing. Taking everything from time to time is good. I used onomatopoeias to enhance the effect the poem gave. I wanted it to start with longer sentences then get shorter to resemble the height of the moment.
Eternal: (e-ter-nal), adjective, plural eternals
Lasting or existing forever; without end or beginning:
My eternal self and its journeys
My love for others that defies time
Nature running free and wild
Endless hours of time
When my brain preserves memories
My paint displayed throughout the ripples of my paper
The music that spills out of my headphones
The universe that holds it all together
Definition Poem - Encrypted in time
One day I picked up a guitar
Danced and felt like a rockstar
Strings sung like melodies
It held remedies
Playing tunes under the dark star
Limerick Poem - Waves of Melodies
Definition Poem - Encrypted In Time
I wrote this poem in hopes to create kind of a spiritual feel in how everythings in a sense eternal. I tried to use imagery and rhymes to add visuals so you can imagine these things that are ¨eternal.¨
I wrote about what is eternal to me and how my love will last forever showing its strong and lasting towards others. I also talked about my soul referencing how it will last forever with my memories even if I don´t exist physically.
Limerick Poem - Waves of Melodies
I wrote this because i used to play guitar and it was important to me. I would usually play at night and enjoyed the way it sounded. I wanted it to really rhyme and have a satisfying tone. I used personification to make it sound like the strings could ¨sing.¨ I also used a simile to compare what it felt like to play a new instrument.
