Geography
This is unit 1. Geography explores both the physical, natural features of Earth (like mountains, rivers, and climate) and how human societies (such as cultures, cities, and economies) live, interact, and change I learned about the absolute locations, which is the longitude and the latitude. latitude is the coordinate that measures the degrees north/south of the equator. the longitude measures the coordinate degrees east/west of the prime meridian.

Economics
Economics is the 2nd unit that we learned this school year. Economics is a unit where —system in which people make, exchange, and use things that Measure of all goods and services produced in a country in one year. Countries produce different goods and services based on their level of
development. Countries trade with one another to take advantage of each other’s strengths, resources, etc.
– Example: Saudi Arabia produces more oil than they could use; the U.S. makes
medicine and high-tech machinery… the two trade with each other

Government
The government is the 3rd lesson. A government is a group of people who make rules, decision, and laws to lead a city, state, or a country. They keep people safe, provide services like schools and parks, and make sure citizens follow the rules.

culture
The culture lesson was very intresting like learning about Cultural diffusion — the movement of customs and ideas
– Example: Baseball started in U.S. but has spread throughout the world
• Acculturation — process of accepting new ideas and fitting them
into a culture
– Example: Baseball in Japan can end in a tie because they value how they
played rather than who wins

Religion
Unit 4 is religions. This unit is very intresting and fun to learn about. The five major world religions are Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, and Buddhism. Judaism is a monotheistic and their holy book is called the torah. Christianity is monotheistic and their holy book is the bible. Islam is monotheistic and their holy book is called the Quran. Hinduism is polytheistic and their holy book is called Vedas. Buddhism is polytheistic and their holy book is sacred text. Monotheistic is if you only believe in only one god. Polytheistic means you believe in more than one god.
