FATMA DUMAN

When Penna nudged the lid open, a cheerful laugh echoed through the trees. Out popped an old, wise man named Scribble. He wore a tall hat made from a giant walnut shell and carried a heavy sack over his shoulder. Scribble was the legendary Word-Smith of Fairyland

Hello, Penna!" Scribble chirped. "I carry the strongest sounds in my sack. We call them the Bold Consonants. Watch this!" He blew into his hands, and the letters F and S flew out, spinning like golden butterflies. "Ffff... Ssss..." they hissed softly.

Next are CH and SH!" Scribble announced. A loud "Chop!" echoed through the woods as the CH appeared, followed by a soft "Shhh..." from the SH. Penna realized that when these letters stood together, they could create any sound in the world.

Finally, Scribble reached into the very bottom of his sack. With a "Hah!" he pulled out the letter H, and with a "Pop!" came the letter P. Now all the bold letters—F, S, T, K, CH, SH, H, and P—were dancing in a circle around the clearing.

Scribble turned to Penna. "To remember these sounds and unlock the secrets of books, you must know the code," he whispered. He raised his wooden staff, and the letters flew together to form a magical trail that pointed toward the center of the woods.

They followed the trail to an ancient tree with a crystal calendar hanging from its trunk. On the crystal, written in sparkling ink, were the words: "26 Math 2026". Scribble smiled and said, "This is the day of the Great Literacy Festival!"

Together, they used the power of the bold letters to crack open a giant "Knowledge Nut" that sat at the base of the tree. Inside, they found the most beautiful stories ever written. Penna knew now that letters were the keys to every door in Fairyland.

As the sun began to set, Scribble waved goodbye and vanished back into his magical sack. Penna headed home, her pockets full of letter-seeds and her heart full of stories. She couldn't wait for the festival on 26 Math 2026.
