I was sitting on the couch one morning when all 

of a sudden my sisters walked into the living 

room. They were carrying bowls of ice cream. 

They said that we were allowed to have some 

ice cream. When I went to the freezer and 

looked inside, I did not see any ice cream. 

Instead I saw a little door. I opened the door 

and looked inside. I saw cherries and ice 

cream, and I put my hand inside. It was really 

cold inside the little door.

When I got sucked through the door I was 

spinning in a circle really fast. The next thing I 

knew I was somewhere with lots of ice cream. I 

looked down and saw I was wearing cherry 

shoes, an ice cream cone dress, and I was 

made of ice cream. It looked cold outside, but I 

was actually warm. I was wondering where I 

was and how to get home. I started walking, 

and then I fell.

When I looked up, I saw a girl about my age. I 

had knocked a bunch of papers out of her 

hand. After I told her I was sorry, I told her my 

name was Ally. I asked her what her name was. 

She said her name was Cherry and her last 

name was Cream. I asked her where I was, and 

she said I was in Ice Cream Land. After I 

helped Cherry pick up the papers and said sorry 

many more times, we went to her house.

At her house we had a chat. I told her that I 

was looking for ice cream, and instead of 

seeing ice cream I saw a door. After that I told 

her how I was spinning in circles. I also told her 

my dad works at a bank, and my mom always 

stays at home. Cherry told me that her mom 

and dad work at the Ice Cream Land Zoo, and 

they get home late. She also told me she had 

two brothers. After all the chatting we were 

doing, she asked me if I needed anywhere to 

stay. I told her yes, so she said she would ask 

her parents.

As a welcome gift and a gift for helping her pick 

up her papers, she took me to her favorite 

store. She bought me three pairs of shoes, 

three dresses, and a few hats. When we got 

back to her house, I tried on the shoes, 

dresses, and hats. They all fit perfectly.

We were getting a little bored, so we played a 

game. We played board games until Cherry's 

parents got home. When Cherry's parents got 

home, she introduced me. Cherry's parents 

said I could stay, but I would have to share a 

room with Cherry until I found my way home. 

Soon it was dark outside, and everybody was 

asleep. I was the last one to go to sleep 

because I was worrying I would never find my 

way home. 

When I woke up I was wondering where I was. 

I remembered that I was in Ice Cream Land. I 

woke up after everybody else, but I thought I 

woke up early. I went to the kitchen. 

Everybody was waiting for me. They also had a 

plate on the table for me. They were all eating 

eggs and bacon.
