"Life skills in action"
It was an ordinary winter morning, cold just as winter should be. There was an unusual silence in the classroom. Everyone was sitting silently on their own. The bell rang, but for some reasons the teacher wasn't coming into the classroom.
Suddenly, one of our classmates noticed a blank box on the top of the bookcase, it immediately caught everyone's attention. My classmate stood up, took the box down and put it on the teacher's table. I gently touched the box and opened it. Inside, I saw scattered alphabet letters and two small figures. There was also a task that said: "Using these letters build a word."

We all started to think about what the word could be. Then our attention returned to the two little figures inside the box and....We remembered our beautiful memories-how we had started participating in an amazing project from a very young age, and how we had met a lot of foreign friends through it.
After these wonderful memories we finally began arranging the letters to form the word "e T w i n n i n g".

When we saw the word "eTwinning", we immediately remembered how our journey had started.
One day, our teacher announced that we would take part in an international project about life skills. We were very excited because we would meet new friends from different countries and learn together. After talking with our families, we decided to join the project. Soon, we became members of TwinSpace and attended our first online meeting. Seeing our foreign partners on the screen and introducing ourselves made us feel happy and curious about the adventures waiting for us.

...Just as the meeting was about to end, something strange happened. The two little figures from the mysterious box suddenly began to glow on our screen. At the same moment, a golden message appeared:
"The journey has only begun. The next clue is hidden in another school."
We looked at each other in surprise. Before we could say anything, the figures pointed toward a map filled with shining stars. One star started blinking far away, as if it was calling us. Then the screen went dark.

The next morning, we found a small golden key inside the box. Attached to it was a note:
"Who will discover the next secret?"
We knew that the answer was waiting somewhere in another school, and that the adventure was now in their hands...

The next morning, we picked up the golden key. We all had the same question: What could this key open? Then, one of the little figures inside the box pointed to the corner of our classroom. There was a small locked drawer there. We had never seen it before. We went to the drawer and put the key into the lock. Click! The drawer opened. Inside, there was a small envelope. On the front, it said: “Every challenge can be solved with the right life skill.” We opened the envelope and some cards fell onto the table. Each card showed a different life skill: Communication, Creativity, Teamwork, Problem Solving, and Respect. There was also a note inside. It said: “Choose the life skill that helped you the most and share it with the next school.”
We talked about the cards together. After a short discussion, we chose Teamwork. Without teamwork, we could not solve the challenge.
When we chose Teamwork, a golden light filled the classroom. A new message appeared on the smart board: “Excellent choice. The next clue is waiting for another team.” Then we saw a new card inside the envelope. It said: “Which life skill will help the next school?”
We put the card, the envelope, and the golden key back into the box. The box was ready for the next school. As we closed the box, we saw a small symbol on the back of the new card. We did not know what it meant. Maybe the next school will find out. The journey is not over yet...

...The box was sent to another school, a Secondary school in Lukovit, Bulgaria, where students always believed SKILLS are the essence for success! The students from 9th grade first found the box, with faces and looks of pure joy! What a wonderful present that could be... what a surprise from their classmates from around the world, as they have noticed the eTwinning sign! Was it a new way to meet their online frineds... could it be a timecapsule or a message to be executed - and they opened the box with excitment!
Adriana Ivanova - "Aleko Konstantinov" Secondary School-BULGARIA
Inside they found real treasures -pictures of their joined activities, letters from all around the world with their flags on them, postcards. But the thing that stratled them was the wooden puzzle box... a new mistery for the next school to solve...The journey continues...

After talking about the cards for a while, we chose Problem Solving.
“Every mystery needs a solution,” one of us said. As soon as we placed the Problem Solving card in the center of the table, the two little figures inside the box began to glow. A bright golden light filled the classroom. Suddenly, several puzzle pieces appeared inside the box. We carefully took them out and started putting them together. At first, the pieces seemed random, but step by step we found where each one belonged. When the last piece was placed, the puzzle revealed a strange symbol in the middle. The two little figures smiled and pointed at the symbol. Then a new message appeared on the smart board: “Well done! But the puzzle is not complete yet. The next school must discover the meaning of this symbol.”
We looked at each other with excitement. What could the symbol mean? Was it a place, a message, or another clue?
We put the puzzle pieces, the Problem Solving card, and the golden key back into the box. Before closing it, we added a note:
“Can you solve the mystery hidden in the puzzle?”
The box was ready for its next journey, and a new adventure was waiting for another school.

When the box arrived at a school in Tallinn, Estonia, the 6th-grade students opened it and discovered a new riddle on their smartboard: "To find the next key, you must show Adaptability. Use what is old to make something new." Looking around, the children gathered a basket of old, unused computer wires from the recycling corner. Working together in teams, they creatively connected the parts to build a digital circuit board that could interface with the puzzle box. As soon as they hooked it up, a bright green light shot out, revealing a new life skill card: Adaptability.

As they celebrated, the golden figures began pointing toward a digital map projecting from the box, tracing a luminous path all the way down to a sunny school in Athens, Greece. A soft voice whispered: "You have adapted well, but the final piece of the puzzle requires a different strength. The ultimate door remains locked." The children carefully repacked the puzzle pieces, the gold key, the Adaptability card, and added a handwritten note of their own. They sealed the package and sent it off to Malatya, wondering if the next students would finally unlock the ultimate secret.

When we came to school, we saw a strange box in our classroom. We were very excited and opened it. As the TwinSpace team, we knew the box had a message for us.
Suddenly, a symbol came out of the box. Bright lights filled the room. We looked at the symbol and talked about it. We shared our ideas. After some time, we understood its meaning. The symbol was Creativity.
Then, we looked inside the box again. We found some old things. There were bottles, boxes, paper, and buttons. We thought about what we could do with them.
Soon, we understood our task. We had to use our creativity and make something new. We started to work in groups.

Everyone had different ideas.
One group made a toy. Another group made a flower pot. Our group made a bird house. We worked together and helped each other.
When we finished, we showed our projects to the class. We were happy because we made new things from old materials.
Our teacher said, "Very good! Creativity helps us make new ideas and solve problems." We learned an important lesson that day.
Before we left the classroom, the box shined again. A new card appeared. We smiled because we understood that it was another school's turn.

The next morning, we arrived at school and found the mystery box waiting for us. When we opened it, a bright golden light filled the classroom. A strange symbol appeared in the air. We discussed our ideas and tried to understand its meaning. After working together, we discovered that the symbol represented Creativity. Suddenly, a new message appeared on the smart board: “Use old things to create something new.” Inside the box, we found empty bottles, cardboard, buttons, paper pieces, and old magazines. We worked in groups and used the materials to create different projects. Some students made colorful toys, others designed flower pots, and one group built a small birdhouse. While working, we learned that creativity is not only about making things. It is also about finding new ideas and solutions.

When we finished, we proudly presented our projects. Then the two golden figures began to shine again, and a new card appeared. It said:
“Excellent work! Creativity has opened the next door. Now the journey can continue.” We placed photos of our projects and a short note inside the box, then prepared it for the next school. As the box left our classroom, we wondered which life skill would be discovered next. The adventure was not over yet...

Cansel ALKAYA
A few days later, the box arrived at another school. The students carefully opened it and found a new glowing card inside. "The next key is Communication. Great ideas become powerful when they are shared.” The students looked at each other with excitement. Alongside the card, they found a challenge: "Work together and create a way to communicate an important message to your community.” The class began discussing their ideas. Some students wanted to make posters, while others suggested creating videos or giving presentations. At first, everyone talked at the same time, and it was difficult to decide. Then their teacher reminded them: "Good communication is not only about speaking. It is also about listening. ”The students started listening carefully to one another. They shared their thoughts respectfully, asked questions, and encouraged everyone to participate.
