Charlie is a 12-year-old boy that is often very emotional. He cries about spilled milk, a tough day at school, and every sad movie.

Other kids at school tell Charlie, "Stop being so wimpy," but Charlie just can't help it.

Today at basketball practice, Charlie was working on his 3-pointer shots. He was the best out of his team.

Every shot he took he missed over and over again. At this point Charlie was getting frustrated, and tears started to well up.

"Nothing," Charlie said with a cracked voice.

Coach Maverick noticed Charlie and pulled him to the side. "Hey Charlie" Coach Maverick said, "What's going on today?"

"I noticed you getting upset and I wanted to let you know that it's okay to cry." Coach Maverick contuined. 

"Some days can be really tough and it's okay to let those feelings out."

Coach Maverick kneeled down to Charlie and said, "Look Charlie, not every boy or man has to hide their feelings. We may want to look tough, but sometimes we just need to let it all out."

Charlie looked at Coach Maverick with tears streaming down. "Really? . . . but I cry all the time."
