Martin Luther King Jr. was born on January 15, 1929, in Atlanta, Georgia. He loved spending time with his family, reading books, and learning new things.

On August 28, 1963, Martin stood before thousands of people in Washington, D.C. Martin Luther King Jr. gave one of the most famous speeches in American history called "I Have a Dream."
