Two Friends, One Big Journey

The Story of Manjila and Surakshya

Once upon a time, in a beautiful place called Nepal, there were two little girls named Manjila and Surakshya. They were best friends who loved playing, laughing and spending time together.

Manjila and Surakshya grew up together. They went to preschool together and later started school together. Every day was full of games, stories, learning and laughter.

“Best friends forever!” they said with big smiles.

One day, Surakshya had some big news.

“My family and I are moving to Japan,” she said.

Manjila became very sad. Surakshya was sad too. They hugged each other tightly because neither friend wanted to say goodbye.

Soon, Surakshya was living in Japan, while Manjila stayed in Nepal. The friends were far away from each other.

Sometimes Manjila looked up at the sky and wondered, “Is Surakshya looking at the same sky?”

Surakshya wondered the same thing.

Even though they were far apart, their friendship stayed strong. They talked when they could, shared stories and remembered the funny things they did at school.

They missed each other, but they never forgot their special friendship.

Five years passed.

After finishing Year 12, Surakshya came back to Nepal. But she did not tell Manjila. She wanted to surprise her friend.

When Manjila finally saw Surakshya, she could not believe her eyes.

“Surakshya!”

The two friends ran towards each other, hugged tightly and cried happy tears.

After their wonderful reunion, the friends started talking about their future.

“Wouldn't it be amazing if we could study together again?” Manjila asked.

“Yes!” said Surakshya.

They dreamed about a new adventure in Australia. They worked hard, talked with their families and believed that their dream could come true.
