Once upon a time, in Japan, lived a great lord. The lord
was so wealthy that he owned two islands of Japan. On
the largest island lay his castle, higher than any bird
can fly and larger than any herds of cattle.

The lord was strong, feared, and loved by all, but
the lord had a problem: he was invaded by a giant
rat named Salla, who could slay any warrior the
mighty lord could send to protect his kingdom.

Eventually, after many warriors tried to defeat the foe, the
rat declared that the lord had three warriors left to send to
fight against the rat, or the lord and his castle would be
destroyed. Panicked, the lord went to the legendary sell-
swords of Dario, who were living in the forest.

Their leader received the lord with open arms and
empty gold chests. The lord told the leader of the
sell-swords what the rat had said.

The leader thought quietly and then responded:

"I will give you two free picks of any of my swords,
but if they all fail, you must pay for one sword ten
times more than the normal price."

The lord thought for some time
and then agreed to the offer.
He then traveled to a field to
where the swords were being
trained and saw many different
types of warrior cats: from
tigers to lions to even small
cats that you could see in a
house.

Of the hundreds of warrior cats in the field, only
two showed the great physical traits. The first
was a strong tiger named Kong, who could slice
through ten trees in one stroke. The other was a
Leopard named Mels, whose speed was unrivaled in
all of the islands of Japan.

Once the lord picked the sell-swords, he left the
hills but was stopped by an old common cat on the
side of the road. The lord laughed and walked
away from the old cat, barely noticing him at all.
The group of three went back to the castle and
went to the Salla.

The lord declared the titles of the sell-swords Kong and
Mels being the strongest and fastest in all of Japan.
First, the Tiger came in front of Salla, pulled out his
sword, and cut many trees to show his strength. But the
Rat came behind Kong and stabbed him in the back. The
Rat cried, “That’s one down, now bring down the next one.”

The lord called the Leopard Mels and declared him
his second champion. Mels demonstrated his speed
by cutting a falling ribbon 100 times before it hit
the ground, but after he did this, the Rat Salla
sneaked up to him and stabbed him in the chest.
The Rat cried, “That’s two down. Now bring me the
next one and your death.”
