Once, in a land far away, during an 

era before your time, Greek gods and 

goddesses ruled the earth. Some were 

kind, some wicked. Others were wise 

and skilled at hunting. Each immortal 

had his own role or talent in the 

godly domain. Lillimis, however, the 

goddess of friendship, had her own 

category.

The goddess was happy and 

bright on the outside; however 

her heart felt extremely lonely. 

She considered everyone to be 

her friend, but never had she 

actually spent time with 

someone who completely 

connected with her. 

One dark, damp morning, the sun 

roused her from a dreamless sleep in 

her favorite field. In this pasture, she 

looked down upon Earth and watched 

mortals carry out everyday tasks 

while making new friends. It 

fascinated her how much humankind 

interacted with each other; on Mount 

Olympus, most gods kept to 

themselves.

Should I follow her?

Should I stay here?

Out of the corner of her eye, Lillimis 

spotted the figure of a young girl moving in 

the dark Perstyx Forest beneath her. 

Thoughts rapidly spiraled through her 

mind. Should I follow her? Should I stay 

here? Somehow, she knew this mortal was 

special, and she was going to take the risk 

to find a true friend. Lillimis inhaled a deep 

breath of fresh air and gathered all the 

courage she could muster, leaping off the 

field towards the dark mortal world below.
