far, far away, a band of pirate
detectives embarked on a journey
to the Forbidden Island to solve
the 'Great Digestion Mystery.'
Captain Brown Beard believed the
world's greatest treasure would be
found at the end of the digestion
journey. He never before took this
journey as it was VERY dangerous.
So Captain Brown Beard enlisted
some help from Room 117
and his quest began.

and I have just arrived on Forbidden Island, which legend
tells, is home to the world's greatest treasure! Grab all the
supplies you need! Help my crew find the treasure!

began the 'Great Digestion Journey at
Skull Teeth Mountain. Enter if you dare!

the food, the mouth will become very
wet with saliva.

salivary glands under the tongue
to moisten the food for easy
swallowing. Its enzyme, amylase,
starts breaking down sugars in food.

into the throat called the pharynx,
a "trap door flap" called epiglottis
closes the windpipe so no food
enters the lungs. BEWARE! You are now
going deeper into the mountain.

they entered Shipwreck Swallows, home to the esophagus swallowing monsters.
The monsters swallowed the Captain's ship, but a floating log saved him. The Captain
floated in the esophagus tube all the way to next stop.

Snake God

Beard and his crew arrived at the Temple of the Stomach Snake God.

allows food to enter the stomach, then coils and squeezes shut, to keep
food from flowing back up to the esophagus.


Gastric juices are necessary for digestion!

crawled out of the temple, they found themselves
in the Intestine Desert of Doom.



the Temple of Stomach Snake God! That means I eat you and your crew!

the crew entered the Deadly Forest.
