At first, it was just a rainy day. The clouds were 

leaking, the ground was wet.

It seemed like the day would be wasted. 

Children stared at the droplets of water that 

gathered on the window, slowly racing from 

the top to the bottom.

Outside, the children played with umbrellas, 

splashing in puddles and squishing their rain 

boots in the grass. 

Kids everywhere were not going to let the rain 

stop them from having fun. All across the city 

the children could be seen laughing and 

dancing in the rain. 

A few of the children started to use their 

imagination as they played in the rain. Some 

imagined crossing a great ocean...
