Where Did the Yellow Bus Go?
Wesley is a handsome little boy. He has big brown eyes and a
smile that would warm anyone’s heart. He has two sisters named
Brooklyn and Meghan and a big brother Jacob who loved to cook
special meals. Wesley was only one and half years old. He would
always look around and offer anyone a great big hug.

Wesley would never forget his favorite pet in the world. Harley
was his pet dog. Ever since Wesley was born Harley would follow him
everywhere he went in the house. At bedtime Harley would lie down
on the floor beside Wesley’s crib and wait for him to wake up and
play.

Wesley had many toys to play with. He had building blocks that he
would pile high and when he was done he would knock them all down.
It did not matter how many times he would knock them down because
he would always laugh really hard every time. Brooklyn and Meghan
would arrive home every day on a big yellow school bus. Wesley would
always meet them with a big hug and a bigger smile.

When Meghan finished her after school snack she would sit down
on the floor next to the fridge with Wesley. Mommy had magnet
numbers and letters lined up on the fridge door. She patiently
pronounced each letter. Wesley would do his very best repeating each
one. He loved all the attention Meghan and Brooklyn would give him.

When Wesley would get tired of making the sounds of letters and
numbers he would return to his pile of blocks and continue to play.
Wesley had a very special toy. He would hold it in one of his hands
even when he was building. His sisters knew of how much Wesley
loved his favorite toy. It was a little yellow school bus. Just like the
one Meghan and Brooklyn would ride home in from school every day.

Brooklyn would ask him if he would like to play ‘Hide and Seek’ with
his toy. She would take the bus and hide it in easy places.
‘Where did the yellow bus go Wesley?’ Brooklyn would ask.
CAN YOU FIND THE YELLOW BUS?

Wesley would always try to look for the yellow bus. He would find
it almost every time. If he could not find the little yellow school bus
Brooklyn would point in the direction of where it could be. Once
Wesley found the bus he would jump up and down with joy. Harley
tried to join in on the ‘Hide and Seek’ game. He did not understand
how to play so he was given his own toy to play with.

Mommy would take time out in her busy day to play ‘Hide and Seek’
with Wesley. He was quite the smart little boy. He could find the
little yellow school bus almost all the time. Mommy would ask him’
‘ ' Where did the yellow bus go Wesley?'
CAN YOU FIND THE LITTLE YELLOW SCHOOL BUS?

When it was time for bed, Wesley would ask his sisters to play
‘Hide and Seek’ one more time. The bus would always be hidden in the
same funny places each time. By the time Wesley found the yellow
school bus he was ready to go to sleep.
'Where did the yellow bus go Wesley?' Meghan asked.
CAN YOU FIND THE LITTLE YELLOW SCHOOL BUS?

Some days when Mommy was truly busy doing chores around the
house Wesley would play all by himself. He built tall buildings out of
his blocks and knocked them down. He piled his toy cars on top of each
other. He read some of his picture books and left then all over the
carpet. Daddy would always call him ‘a busy little beaver’.
‘Nap time little man’ Mommy called out to Wesley.

Wesley loved his nap time. He would cuddle up with his favorite
teddy bear. His name was Rufus. Wesley would hum his himself to
sleep. He would hum ‘The Wheels on the Bus’. It was not very long
before he and Harley were fast asleep. Wesley would always wake up
to the sound of Meghan and Brooklyn coming through the front door.
He would wake up with a smile on his face almost every time. Harley
would growl until one of girls came to his room.
