The wind was howling and blowing, a storm was brewing.
Next second, a map that looked like a scruffy piece of
paper, but was a treasure map, landed at my feet.
"I have to get a crew and go and find this."
I went off and meandered to the nearest bar in the village
to find a crew.
"Here it is, I've arrived. Let's see who's in here."
I entered and already, from the corner of my eye, I saw a
clan of people who could help me find the treasure. I slowly
made my way along the squeaky floorboards towards them,
hoping they would help me hit the jackpot! As I
approached them, one of them questioned me. "Is that a
treasure map in your pocket?"

I replied, "Yes it is. Why are you asking? " He said he
and his friends would help me find the treasure. So I
replied, "Sure, I was coming here to look for a crew
anyway."
Outside the Inn I talked to the men. "My crew, I am
now your Captain. We will go out to sea and to our
destination, lets have a look at the map then and see
where this treasure lies!"
"YES!!" they all screamed. So we laid the map down on
a damp wooden bench and a member of the crew
remarked, "It looks like the treasure is over at Skull
Bay."
Then I replied, "We shall set off to Skull Bay at dawn
tomorrow." My other crew members and the Vice
Captain shouted, "We can't go there, have you gone
mad?"

"You have to go through sharks storms and.." before he
can say anything else I interrupt and said, "Everyone to
bed!
In the morning the sky looked purple and I was a bit
worried, so I headed down to the bay and there I saw
my crew on our ship. I asked the crew to lift the anchor
and I took the wheel. Off we went on our adventure to
find the treasure at Skull Bay.
In the middle of the deep, dark ocean we started to
notice strikes of lightning, a purple one, a red one. Then,
the boat started to rock rapidly, almost tipping over. The
vice captain and his mate shouted together, "It's a red-
eyed beast!"
"Get to the cannons!!" I cried over the noise of the
storm.
The cannons launched! Silence fell! The beast had gone.

A little time lapsed and the vice captain pointed out that
the storm was still on the horizon, and it was heading
back our way. We were extremely worried that the
terrifying laser shark would pay us another visit, so we
decided to head for land to shelter from the storm.
We could hear the thunder banging through the cloudy
sky; the rain began lashing the deck of the ship. The
wind was howling but, out of the corner of my eye, I saw
what looked like a parrot, but it was grey. There must be
land close by so I steered the ship in the direction it came
from.
"Land Ahoy!" shouted the lad in the crows nest.
We noticed that the storm was calming, the clouds were
parting and Skull Bay was in our sights.
This parrot has been programmed and been sent to us
we thought.

The crew and I were extremely delighted! We had found
Skull Bay.
I pulled out the map from my coat pocket to check if it
was the right place. It was.
"Lower the anchor and go ashore crew," I instructed the
men.
When we were all on shore, we followed the map to where
the treasure was supposed to be buried. We dug for
twenty minutes before finally hitting something solid.
"Is it the treasure?" muttered some of the men.
The vice captain reached down low in to the hole and
started to heave out the chest.
I leaned down and tried to open it. It wouldn't open so I
pulled with all my remaining strength. Squeaking loudly,
the lid finally lifted and inside was gold and diamonds.

The crew shared the treasure equally among themselves,
and carried it back to the ship. I felt relieved that we had
found the treasure and we were all happy to be rich
beyond our dreams.
