The truth about the internet is that its not a
safe place. You may be online and think its a
normal day and its just something to entertain
you, but really you could be being traced and
being watched. You could apply for a job or
maybe even sign up for a web site and just like
that your information is all over the internet.

When it comes down to creating passwords I
always stick with the same one, and most
importantly never share it. Why never share
your password? Think of it as the most
important thing in your life. Just by sharing
your password you could be giving away your
life, and if you know whats best for you, you'd
keep it.

Creating accounts could be the most dangerous
thing you could do on the internet, definitely
the most unsafe thing. Then again there is a
safe way to do it. The 3 things i always
remember to keep to myself when creating an
account or signing up for something are. 1.
Never give out your phone number. Why?
because phones are the easiest things to be
traced, and as soon as you post your phone
number up, the whole world now has it. 2.
Never give away your home address unless you
are over the age of 18. Why?

because just like that unknown packages could
be arriving at your house, strangers could find
out where to find you etc. So never give out
your home information unless its absolutely
necessary and you are above the age of 18. 3.
when using a credit card, debit card, or any
other card besides a gift card always have an
adult around to make sure you're being safe.

Using the Internet could still be a fun
thing to do IF you're safe. If you are not
safe then you could be in serious danger,
more danger than you think you are in.

Just remember if you are creating accounts, ordering,
or even sending emails that you read everything no
matter how long the terms and agreements might be,
make sure you read to a good extent and be safe

For example, A girl named Serena
decided to sign up for face book. She
followed all directions. She input her
name, email adress, and Phone number.
Bad news are that serena decided to lie
on her date of birth ad worse she
posted her phone number. So a few
months later serena received a friend
request from a stranger seemed to be
over the age of 18. Later that week
serena received a message from the
same guy. Serena decided to talk to
this stranger, and later on the stranger
came to a conclusion to ask serena for
her address.

Serena refused to share her home address and
decides to come to her parents for help. Moral
of the story is to never put in personal
information when signing up for online things.
