Start your rest with this prayer so on Him you'll lean

God Creator of the earth and all the universe
You are the One who lifts my heart especially when it hurts

You are my God, the only one, before all else you reign You made me, and whispered love over my new name

You see me when I sleep and when I am awake
You see me at my school and with the friends I make

You promised you would be with me every single day
Speak to me when I do wrong and guide me how to play

Forgive me for the things I've done that are against your Word
Teach me now and I will listen until I am assured

Lead me to the righteous path I know that I should take
Prepare my thoughts to be strong in every choice I make
