Once upon a time there was a fish named 

Lexi. She was an average fish that enjoyed 

swimming like all of her friends. She had a 

deep secret though, she had always dreamed 

of becoming a mermaid. 

One day while Lexi was swimming she came 

across a chest lying on the ocean floor. She 

knew she should not open the chest but she 

could not help herself, she was too curious. 

Once the chest was open the chest burst into a 

million stars and covered Lexi.  

The stars transformed Lexi into a beautiful 

mermaid. Once the stars disappeared Lexi 

found a small mirror on the ocean floor. She 

picked it up 

and looked at

herself. To her 

surprise her 

reflection talked to 

her. 

Lexi looked in the mirror and discovered that 

she had become a mermaid! Her reflection told 

her that she will get one wish if she can rescue 

the merman Owen from the sea monster. 

More than anything Lexi wanted to stay a 

mermaid so she decided to rescue Owen. She 

was then teleported to where she would fight 

the sea monster. 

When Lexi got to the island she was surprised 

by how large the sea monster was. She tried 

her best to fight the monster with her hands 

but she was not strong enough. That was when 

she looked below her and a sparkle caught her 

eye. Lexi dove down to the ocean floor to see if 

she could find something to help her defeat the 

seamonster.
