Lyle the Lying Lion

All alone, a tiny, helplessbaby lion opened his big eyes
to find himself in the middle of
a dark, spooky forest.

As the little lion lookedaround, he found that all
of the other forest
animals were slowly gathering around him.
They whispered,"What in the world is that
strange animals with big paws?!"

More and more animals closed inon the poor lion. They knocked down trees and bushes, and tore
away leaves and squeezed together just so they could get a look at their new forest friend.
Finally, a small raccoon stepped forward and said with a
shy smile,"Hi! I'm Bandit. I'm a raccoon! What's your name?"
The baby lion looked at Bandit and said,"I'm Lyle
the lion. Where am I?" Bandit replied,"You're in
the African jungle of Kalamazoo. We're your new forest neighbors!
Over there," Bandit pointed at a huge elephant,"that's Peanuts the
elephant. And here," he pointed to a Grey wolf," That's Snowflake
the wolf." Bandit introduced Lyle to all of the animals, and soon
after that, they all went away."
