Mickey and his friend Goofy where outside on a bright 

sunny day, when Goofy asked Mickey about his new 

Cell house. 

 "So Mickey, can I see your new cell thingy?" asked 

Goofy. 

 "Do you mean my new Cell house? Why of course 

you can, all you have to do is say the magic words. 

Meeska- Mooska- Mickey mouse!" said Mickey.              

"Meeska-Mooska-Mickey mouse!" they chanted 

together. 

At last the Cell house appeared right in front of them.  

 Together they make their way to what looks 

like a door, but it's not just any door. 

 "This here is the cell membrane, it's in charge 

of what comes in and out of the cell," explains 

Mickey. 

As they enter, they stop and see Minnie 

reading in her home office.   

 "What do you call this room?" asks Goofy.

 "It's Minnie's Bowtique but I call it the 

nucleolus, it's where all of Minnie's important 

work happens. I call Minnie, my wife, the 

nucleus because she is in control of everything 

that happens." 

"Say, do you have a name for what we are 

walking in right now?" asks Goofy. 

  "Why I call these the endoplasmic reticulums, 

they transport things, although in a real cell 

they also help make proteins and lipids." said 

Mickey. 

"It looks like they just transported us to the 

kitchen. said Goofy. 

 "That's right!" says Mickey, "It's called the 

Ribosome, it's meant to use amino acids to 

make proteins, but here it makes me food to 

make me happy." said Mickey with a laugh.
