It is the year of 1934, and there are two brothers that 

had been sent to the rock known as Alcatraz for 

murdering multiple people. They were one of the first to 

be prisoners at Alcatraz, and there names where Reese 

Hallward and Nate Hallward. They also had crimes for 

being in a gang called the Vagos one of the worst gangs 

out there. All these crimes would end up having them 

sentenced for life.

The two brothers cells were right next to each other so 

they were able to talk and send notes to each other. 

There cells were very small so it was very cramped 

but they got use to it after being there for the first 

month of their sentence. One day they were in the 

rec. yard and Reese got into a fight and killed another 

inmate so everyone stared at him. Nate got into a 

fight and also killed an inmate, since then they were 

known as the strongest and toughest people there. 

Everyone followed them and tried to stay on the good 

side of them. Sometimes after some bad fights they 

were put in solitary but when they came out 

everything stayed the same. 

Now it is lunch and the boys eat little because the food 

was gross so they went out to the rec yard were Reese 

starts to work out and Nate starts to play basketball and 

in a little while they went back to their cells. Reese 

started to draw and plan out something and Nate could 

tell what he was doing so he gathered the supplies they 

might need and hid them from cops later that day.

Now the boys are about 39 and they are talking to the 

higher ranked prisoners like AL capone but about a week 

later he killed himself because he was facing the death 

penalty. Later that week the boys found out they were 

too, luckily they already had an escape plan to breaking 

out of the prison.
