Once upon a time, there were 3 little chickens 

who lived with their mom. They were getting 

older, and soon had to find their own homes. 

"I love you, and I'll miss you," said mother 

hen. 

"I love you," said youngest chicken.

"I'll miss you," said the middle chicken.

"I love you, and will miss you," said the oldest 

chicken. 

As they left the farm, they were as 

happy as a kid in a candy store. 

They finally didn't have to listen to 

mom's rules, and do chores. They 

would be in charge of their own 

home.

They soon were out of the 

farm and into the woods. 

The youngest chicken 

bumped into a man selling 

straw, and decided he 

would make his house out 

of straw.

"This is a piece of 

cake," said youngest 

chicken. A few minutes 

later, he had finished 

building his straw 

house, and took a nap.

While the youngest chicken 

was sleeping, the middle 

chicken bumped into a man 

selling sticks, and he 

decided to make his house 

out of sticks.

"These sticks weigh a 

ton," said middle 

chicken. However, at 

the end, he built his 

stick home and took a 

nap. 

While middle chicken was 

taking a nap, oldest 

chicken bumped into a 

woman selling bricks, and 

decided to build his house 

of out bricks.

"Time is thief. I better work 

fast," said oldest chicken. 

He worked quickly, and 

finished building his brick 

house. Then, he decided to 

make soup.
