A greedy old man once 

traveled to the woods. He 

found a mysterious lamp! He 

thought the lamp held a genie, 

and he was right! He rushed 

right over to rub the lamp.

When he rubbed the lamp he 

was amazed. A real life genie! 

The genie gave him 3 wishes 

like we have all heard. Being a 

greedy man he knew what he 

wanted!

He took the lamp back to his 

house. The greedy man used 

his first wish right up: gold! It's 

what any greedy person wants. 

The genie did as commanded 

and he had 1,000 gold!

Another thing any greedy man 

wants is a beautiful wife! This 

man was no different. The 

genie also did what he was 

told. Only one wish was left. 

The man would have to think 

hard.
