The teacher stared down at my empty desk.

"Ben, where is your homework" said Mrs Dosk.

My cheeks went bright red. The whole class had 

given in their homework and they were all staring 

at me.

Mrs Dosk started talking again. "You don't have it. 

I told you if your homework is not in today...Glen 

and Kate, take Ben to the Headmaster and give 

him this note and say it's from Mrs Dosk."

"Sheesh, Mrs Dosk was a bit hard on you" said 

Glen.

"Well, you're her favourite students so you never 

get into trouble" I snapped. 

Glen knocked on Headmaster Washers' door.

"Enter" yelled Mr Washers. 

"Sorry to bug you Mr Washers but..." tried Kate.

"Ah, Ben is here so that must mean detention" 

declared Mr Washers.

"Oh, well, I don't know, but he did not bring his 

homework in on time Sir" said Kate. Then she 

added. "Glen and I better get going, bye."

So they left the room.

"So Ben..." Mr Washers began.

Mrs Dosk burst through the door and panted, "Ben, 

come back I'm sorry I was a bit mean earlier but 

tell me the story of your homework..."
