meal. And hamburgers, not so much. In Japan there are some foods that are the same foods
that we eat and some not.

Here are some other foods that Japanese
people eat: fish, soybeans, meat, vegetables,
sushi, stews, noodles and chicken.

Sushi is vegetables and meat wrapped in rice
and seaweed. Sashimi is a slice of raw fish on
rice.

Japan has lots of sports. They have
football, wrestling, martial arts, golf,
basketball, and baseball.

Sumo is a competitive full contact wresting
match where one wrestler tries to push the
other out of the circle or get them to touch the
ground first.

Baseball is a very popular sport in
Japan. They have their own
professional league. Teams are made
up of mostly japanese players, but
teams can have a few players from
other countries. The rules of the game
are the same.

Kendo, Judo, Sumo, and Taekwondo are some
martial arts. The funny thing is that I go to
taekwondo! I am a green belt. In a book I
saw about Japan two people were practicing
kendo on each other. Kendo is a Japanese
sport of fencing using bamboo swords.

I got my information from Scott Asano
and my library book called Looking at
Japan.
I also interested in the Japanese tsunami
of 2011. I want to see where the storm
hit the Japanese coast. I think if I went to
Japan I would stick with the hamburger.
